Wednesday evening, Peter and Gary sat down in a little boat, fishing. Though they were making a lot of noise and driving the fish away. Gary had a lot of crazy and funny stories to tell, and they made Peter laugh his balls out. It had been a long time since he laughed like this, and he was genuinely loving the moment.
"So Peter, tell me about your girlfriend." Gary asked with a mischievous smirk.
"Come on dude, I've told you countless times already. I'm not sharing any information with you about her. At least for now."
"Well is the little lover boy shy?"
"Uhhhh.... it just feels weird talking about stuff like that."
"Well you're a strange one. So tell me, you got any hot teachers in school?"
"Gary!"
"What? It's time big ol'Gary settles down, don't you think so?"
"Well sure, but stay away from my teachers, that'll be really embarrassing for me!"
Gary grabbed his stomach and burst into laughter.

Peter became alarmed, but he tried his best not to show it. He didn't want Gary to suspect anything.
' I'll just play it cool till I see what's making my spider sense tingle.'
Suddenly, Gary raised his hand up, catching a piranha that jumped out of the water.
This caused Peter to frown deeply, because first of all, the fish was behind Gary, so catching it was impossible, well supposed to be impossible. Next, he reacted faster than Peter ever could. That's with his spider powers involved.
And that was frightening. Really frightening.
"That was a close one!" Gary said with a laugh, tossing the fish away. Peter laughed nervously, even though the scene kept repeating itself in his head.
They soon packed up after Gary concluded that it wasn't safe for Peter anymore. They stopped at a little restaurant to grab some food. Though by coincidence, he saw MJ there. She was with a jovial looking guy, who had a big smile on his face. She looked happy too, and both of them were chatting heartily.
"You're dating your neighbor?" Gary whispered when they got to a table.
"Umm no...." Peter replied, but his voice trailed off at the end.
"Nah.....you're lying. You're definitely dating that girl."
"No, I'm not. How the hell did you even come to that conclusion?"
"Well, I saw the way you looked at her when we walked in. You looked like you caught your girlfriend cheating on you."
"Well....it's kind of complicated. I'm just surprised, but you know...." Once again his voice trailed off.
"Lemme guess, she had a crush on you, but you liked another girl then and now that girl is your girlfriend, but now that this girl has moved on, you feel heart broken."
"Gary that was more than a fucking guess."
"What do you know, I'm good."
Peter stared at him in silence. Gary was starting to freak him out. But his spider sense wasn't tingling, so he relaxed a little.
After they finished eating and laughing, drawing some weird stares to themselves, Gary went to the counter to pay.
MJ and the dude she was with walked outside, but she went back inside, acting like she forgot something.
She looked back, confirming that the dude was out of sight, then she walked to Peter.
"Why are you giving me that look?" She asked angrily.
"What are you talking about?"
"You know how much I loved you, but you chose Carla over me, so stop looking at me like I did something wrong. You didn't want me, so I moved on, and you should do the same Peter."
"MJ.....you got the wrong idea....."
She scoffed and walked away, not caring to listen to what he wanted to say.
Gary walked to Peter and placed a hand on his shoulder with a sad smile.
"Peter, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's go."
Gary drove them home, and the ride was quiet, as Peter was thinking about what MJ told him. He liked her, and he liked Carla too, but he liked Carla more than her.
'Am I polygamous?' Peter thought, but quickly shook his head. 'MJ's right, I can't have both of them all to myself, they aren't my property.'
He sighed and looked outside, just to see MJ and her boyfriend next to him. The dude looked at Peter and gave him a polite smile, before overtaking them.
They got home after a long and quiet journey, and the sun was already setting.
Peter received a call from Carla as soon as he got home.
"Umm.... Peter....can you meet me at Joe's Pizza Hut?"
"Sure. Is anything wrong though?"
"No, just get here quickly."
Gary and May looked at him with raised eyebrows.
"Uhhh...I have to go now!" Peter said and ran outside, heading towards the Pizza Hut. He got there as quickly as he could, and he saw Carla nervously pacing around.
"Carla, are you okay?"
"Oh my God, Peter, it's so good to see you." She looked round and dragged him to a dark corner.
There she began explaining everything.

Johnny Recar, a spy for an off the book government agency, walked home from having dinner with his date at a small restaurant. Well at least that's what it looked like to everyone else, but the lady wasn't actually his date at all, she was someone he was passing information to. Why didn't he call, you might ask. Well he knew that someone had access to every call he made, and his superiors were listening to everything he said through a phone call, even the calls he made with his ex wife.
Honestly he wasn't supposed to be bothered, but he was, because the person he was passing information to wasn't part of the organization, she was actually a journalist trying to put some dirt on the organization, and bring them to light, so the public can know what the government is doing behind their back. So the lady, Paula, and the man Johnny were trying to take down this organization.
Johnny got home and collapsed on his couch, exhausted. It was a long talk and he needed sleep. Suddenly, something caught his eye. His curtain was slightly creased. Well that was normal, but he took thorough notice of everything in his house and knew that he hadn't touched his curtains that day. So someone else had come to his place. He slowly walked to his bathroom, and gently touched the knob. It moved easily, too easily. Johnny knew that something was wrong, so he quickly ran towards his door, hoping to leave.
As he opened the door, an explosion took place, blowing up his entire apartment, killing him in the process.

Captain Stacy was called into the office of a superior officer. He wondered what the call was all about as he and the superior weren't really on good terms.
He handed George (Captain Stacy) a file, and began explaining.
"This man is a very important asset to the government, but he has been kidnapped. Assemble the team I've prepared and go rescue him, everything you need is in that file. Including the names of the people you'll be going with."
George nodded and quickly skimmed through the file.
"Can I check out the crime scene sir?"
"Go ahead, I'm not sure you'll find anything new though. Like I said everything's in the file."
George nodded with a slight bow and quickly left the office with the file, which had Johnny's picture on it
He took an officer with him and they drove to Johnny's house.
"Yuri stay here, I'll go up myself." George said as he went up the stairs and got to the blown up apartment.
He took a deep breath and frowned.
He looked at the file in his hand, which clearly stated that Johnny's house was blown up, but he survived and was kidnapped. But looking around, George wasn't sure how someone could survive this.
"I'm familiar with this bombing. Just a little bit of fresh air and the whole place goes up in flames. I'm guessing they connected the trigger of the bomb to the door knob. So when he walked in, the gas was released. Whoever did this knew that he'll notice the little changes in his house which will make him reopen the door, releasing the gas to fresh air, causing the explosion." George deduced, as he stood in one place, closing his eyes.
"Let's get this hunting started."

Carla was walking down the stairs when she heard her parents talking.
"—honey it's a rescue mission. I'll return before you know it."
"George, can't you decline this? Please, it sounds really dangerous, you're dealing with bombers here." Carla immediately ran up and called Peter. She then sneaked out of the house through the back door, and ran to Joe's Pizza Hut, where she anxiously waited for Peter.

"So you want me to follow your dad and make sure he returns safely?"
"Yes, please don't say no."
"I'll do it Carla. Even if it wasn't your dad, I'll still go. When are they leaving?"
"Tonight."

Peter entered the WEB and found it empty. Which was kind of strange as Anna practically lived there. He walked to the pod that contained his Electro Suit and opened it.
He didn't know what he would face so he had to be prepared.
Swinging through the city, he easily located George's police car, as a little police convoy left the city. He swung after them until they got to a place where there were no buildings for him to shoot his webs to, so he gently landed on one of the cars. He tried his best to blend, but he knew that if they looked, he'd easily be found.
After some long driving, they got to a warehouse.
"I'll stake my pension that this is a trap." Officer Simmons said, looking at the building. Ten police cars were sent on the mission, but they went with five cars, so they won't draw too much attention.
Peter jumped into the forest around them, quickly blending into the shadows.
The ten officers looked at each other nervously, because they all had bad feelings about the mission.
"Let's head forward." George said pulling out his gun. The rest followed suit as they jogged towards the building.
As George touched the knob, Peter's spider sense tingled.
Not just that little tingle, it was buzzing.
Like a rocket, he shot forward and pulled George and the other officers away from the building.
"Spider-Man!?"
"Yeah, it's me. It's quite a pleasant evening to be walking into your own deaths don't you think?"
"What're you talking about?" George asked.
"I don't know what's in there, but it's not good news."
George and the other officers exchanged looks.
"Look kid, you definitely have no idea how things work in our line of duty." Officer Simmons said, "But lemme tell you something, good news or bad news, we were given an order to go in, and that we shall do."
Peter froze, as he slowly turned to the building.
Ten officers who were ready to follow and order to the death were sent here to die.
"Whoever sent them here wants them dead." Peter muttered to himself.
He clenched his fist and walked towards the door.
"Everyone, get back, I'll go in first. Sure, an order is an order, but that doesn't mean you should just die useless deaths. Since I'm stronger I'll go in first, then we'll see first hand what's waiting for you guys."
The officers nodded and they all moved a great distance away from the warehouse.
The thunder theme spider symbol on his chest began to glow, as his fist sparked. He punched the door open, and a very big, deafening explosion happened.
The force pushed the officers backwards, and they crashed into their cars.
"SPIDER-MAN!!!!!" George yelled, struggling to get up.
"That was a risky game Spidey." Speedy said, as he and Peter stood near the officers. They all looked at him, surprised at how he got there, when he was supposed to be burnt to death.
"I knew you'll save me Speedy." Peter said, laughing a little.
Speedy was just aimlessly running when he spotted Spider-Man swinging, so he followed and saw everything that happened when they got to the warehouse. He knew something was off, so when time suddenly slowed down, he moved quickly, grabbing Peter and running away.
"Speedy, can you put off the fire? My spider senses are tingling, there's something else in there." Peter whispered to Speedy. Then turning to the officers, he spoke louder. "Please, go home! Don't return to the station — heck don't even drive your cars, Speedy will take you home. Don't let anyone except your family know you've returned, because if this is what I think, then things are going to get really ugly."
Looking back, Peter saw that the fire had been extinguished. Speedy then raced each of the officers to their homes, though they had to puke when he stopped running though.
Now Peter and Speedy stood together, looking at the destroyed building. They walked forward cautiously, when suddenly the ground shook. They got battle ready, each taking a stance, as the vibrations became worse.
Suddenly a large golem jumped out of the ground, letting out a loud roar. It didn't have fingers, but it's wrist was a large ball with purple crystal spikes. The purple crystal spikes occupied most of its body, and its eyes had a deep purple glow.
"What the hell!?" Speedy yelled, covering his ears. Peter frowned, the lenses on his mask following his eye movement. The sparks in his fist grew, as a bright blue lightning show brightens the night.
"Are you ready?" Peter asks, and Speedy nods in reply.
With a bang, they shot towards the golem, both of the jumping into the air.
