Alexi's meeting with Dante and Adrian lasted an hour and a half. Afterward, Dante found Lilian in the archive, where she had taken to spending her evenings going through the older documents with the translation guide Adrian had written out for her by hand.
He sat down across from her, looking like his usual controlled self, but Lilian could tell he was still thinking about the meeting.
"How was it?" she asked, not looking up from the document.
"Surprisingly productive," he said flatly. "Alexi is concerned about the Citadel's ward system. He asked very specific questions about the lower level acces points, where the breach happened. And he wanted to know how the Collector got in without triggering the outer seals."
Lilian put her pen down. "Those are some very specific questions."
"Yes."
"Does he have a reason to know about the lower level access points?"
