Cristiano Valentino stood in my doorway like a beautiful, dark omen.
He was dressed in a burgundy suit that looked like it had been molded to his frame, paired with a black shirt left unbuttoned just enough to reveal a thin black chain that rested against his chest. As he shifted, I caught the edge of a tattoo peeking out from beneath his collar and disappearing behind his neck.
His long dark hair was pulled back into a messy man bun, a few stray strands framing a face that was far too handsome for his own good. Small black hoop earrings dangled from his lobes, catching the dim light of the hallway. He looked effortless, chaotic, and completely out of place in the sterile silence of the mansion.
"Hello, sweetheart," A slow smile spread across his face. Fuck, that was sexy.
His dimples were mile deep, and his blunt, white teeth were so straight, he must have had the greatest orthodontist on the planet when he was younger.
