As the last of the ten zombies fell and the fog finally cleared, the Lich materialized in the center of the room, its ribcage rattling with a hollow clatter. It was no longer merely annoyed—it was furious.

The creature shrieked, spewing broken, mangled syllables toward Maddy and her children. Whatever language it once spoke had rotted away, leaving only the sound of rage and curses.
Frovian clicked his tongue.
"I think that coward is… cursing us?"
The Lich didn't stop. For one final outburst, it screamed—
