Purple lightning exploded outward, racing across the walls, pillars, and ceiling, forming a crackling prison of electricity that began sealing every exit in the hall.
But the Gigante had underestimated the warriors of the Seven Houses.
Before the cage could fully close, the warriors of House Verdantwing moved. They were like leaves caught in a hurricane—light, fast, and impossible to grasp. Their bodies twisted through the chaos with breathtaking agility. They leapt through windows, vaulted over balconies, and slipped through every gap and opening in the hall before the lightning sealed it shut.
