Dumbledore still placed great importance on the savior; upon receiving the news, he quickly sent them a reply.
He decided to dispatch Hagrid to rush to that small hut on the reef overnight to have a face-to-face talk with The Dursley Family and Harry Potter.
Adelaide no longer needed to continue monitoring The Dursley Family for the time being; she and Hermione only needed to meet up with Hagrid on the shore tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, Mr. Weasley was responsible for continuing to track The Dursley Family until they safely returned to Number Four, Privet Drive.
Despite the howling winds and pouring rain outside the car, this harsh weather did not cause much trouble for Wizards with extraordinary skills. The magical tents they carried had excellent waterproof functions and could effectively resist the intrusion of rainwater.
Adelaide urged Hermione to put on her hat and cast the Flame-Freezing and Impervious Charms on both their clothes and hats so that the two could move about outside without needing umbrellas.
In Britain, if one wants to go fishing in freshwater areas, a specialized fishing license is usually required, but sea fishing is not subject to this restriction.
Thinking of how plump schools of Herring usually gather along the British coast in summer, Adelaide had a sudden inspiration and pulled Hermione excitedly toward the seaside.
The noise from the heavy rain and the ripples on the water's surface weakened the fish's senses. Sharp-eyed Adelaide spotted a school of swimming Herring at a glance; she drew her wand and cast a Transfiguration spell on the rocks near the school.
The once ordinary stones instantly transformed into a solid barrier, trapping the school of fish within.
With very little effort, they successfully caught over twenty lively Herrings and six slippery Conger eels. Today's dinner was sorted.
Hermione muttered, "Is catching fish really this simple... if my father saw this, he'd definitely be half-dead with frustration."
Mr. Granger was a fishing enthusiast who even set aside a small room at home for his fishing rods and reels—unfortunately, despite being fully equipped, he often returned empty-handed from his fishing trips.
Adelaide winked at Hermione and said with a giggle, "Dear Hermione, study Transfiguration and Charms well after you start school; maybe next summer break, you'll be able to show off your skills when you go fishing with Uncle Granger."
Hermione let out a long sigh and said helplessly, "Even if I learn Transfiguration, I'm afraid Dad wouldn't be happy. He told me before that what he truly enjoys is the joy brought by the moment a fish takes the bait, not just catching the fish."
Adelaide shrugged. These 'air-force' fishermen always had something to say, and their reasoning was always sound—too bad that no matter what they said, it couldn't change the harsh reality that they never caught any fish.
On this wind-swept and rainy night, The Dursley Family huddled in the reef hut gnawing on mushy bananas; meanwhile, Adelaide led Mr. Weasley and Hermione to sit around a warm fireplace, happily roasting delicious fish.
Mr. Weasley, who was full of curiosity about the Muggle World, and Hermione, who was thirsty for knowledge about the mysterious Wizarding World, hit it off like old friends upon their first meeting. They heatedly discussed fields they were interested in, sharing their novel experiences and insights, completely immersed in the conversation.
Adelaide, sitting to the side, seemed a bit bored.
She reclined lazily on Hermione's soft lap, absentmindedly playing with the wand in her hand, occasionally looking up at the two who were chatting enthusiastically, or casually rolling her eyes to scan the surroundings.
Time slipped away quietly, and the hour hand soon pointed to eleven o'clock. A deafening roar of a motorcycle suddenly came from outside the tent.
Mr. Weasley stood up abruptly, raised his wand, and walked out of the tent, peering alertly in the direction of the sound.
A cool Flying motorcycle descended from the sky like a bolt of lightning, stopping right in front of the tent.
The driver of this Flying motorcycle was none other than the burly Hagrid.
Seeing that the newcomer was Hagrid, a warm smile immediately appeared on Mr. Weasley's face, and he stepped forward quickly to welcome Hagrid inside.
"Hagrid, we just happened to roast some fresh and delicious Herring. Have some as a late-night snack."
Adelaide greeted Hagrid with a smile.
Since learning that Hagrid had good relationships with all the creatures in the Forbidden Forest, Adelaide had been trying every means to get on his good side—that way, if she needed certain rare and precious magical creature materials in the future, she could directly buy them from Hagrid or have him buy them for her. If she was lucky and caught Hagrid in a good mood, she might even get some valuable things for free.
Hearing that there was roasted fish to enjoy, Hagrid gave a simple, honest laugh and reached out to take a roasted fish skewer from Adelaide's hand.
Hagrid stuffed the entire Herring into his wide mouth all at once, like eating a toothpick meat snack, even chewing up the hard fish bones along with it.
There are actually such Giants in the Wizarding World!
Witnessing this scene, Hermione's eyes widened like copper bells in shock, and she couldn't say a word for a long time.
"This roasted fish is absolutely wonderful!"
Hagrid praised incessantly, his face beaming with excitement and satisfaction. "But folks, I really can't stay here long—as you know, Headmaster Dumbledore specifically instructed me to find Harry's family to talk about him entering Hogwarts."
With that, he set aside the finished fish skewer and stood up to leave the tent.
Seeing this, Adelaide kindly reminded him, "Hagrid, you must be careful! Mr. Dursley has a powerful weapon that can kill enemies from a distance."
Faced with such a warning, Hagrid seemed indifferent. He grinned, revealing his white teeth, and said confidently, "Don't worry, Adelaide. How could those little toys in the hands of Muggles possibly hurt me?"
Then Hagrid turned to look at Arthur Weasley nearby and patted the cool motorcycle, saying heartily, "Hey, Brother Arthur! I'll entrust my precious motorcycle to your care for now. Headmaster Dumbledore specifically instructed that tomorrow I have to take Harry, Adelaide, and the others to London by train."
Arthur Weasley happily agreed; he had long been interested in the Flying motorcycle and took this opportunity to study it properly.
Adelaide waved her wand and cast a Levitation Charm—the small boat originally moored at the door of the reef hut was lifted by an invisible Giant hand and slowly moved to the shore so that Hagrid could leave smoothly by boat.
Hagrid strode onto the boat, picked up the oars, and began to row vigorously. The small boat sped toward the reef hut like an arrow from a bow.
When he approached the hut, Hagrid knocked for a long time with a "thud, thud, thud!" but no one came to open it. He had no choice but to reach out and remove the heavy wooden door.
Adelaide, Mr. Weasley, and Hermione stood at the tent entrance, waiting until they saw Hagrid enter the reef hut before going back to sleep.
