I think we should first get you out of here, then figure out a way to prove your innocence, otherwise, according to Rob Cassie, you might be stuck in prison for life.
After listening to Newt and Tina's account, Li Chuan pulled out his wand and chanted at the prison bars: "Alohomora (Unlocking Charm)!"
However, his Alohomora (Unlocking Charm) had no effect on the iron bars.
"Tom, you should leave now. These iron bars have many advanced anti-unlocking magic spells on them, and can only be opened with a special key."
Tina said, seeing the situation, with some despair.
As a former Aurors, she naturally knew the situation in the prison. If Tom, this kind wizard, were to be caught along with them, she would truly feel too guilty.
Now she truly regretted persuading Newt to come to the Magical Congress of the United States of America last night to explain the situation.
"Tom, thank you for your help. Tina is right. If you're discovered, you'll also be mistaken for our accomplice. Please take good care of Niffler, that mischievous little fellow."
Newt had the same idea as Tina; he also didn't want to implicate this good friend he had just met and gotten along with so well.
"I'm not the kind of person who would abandon a friend in trouble. Leave it to me."
Li Chuan placed his hands on two of the iron bars of the cage, took a deep breath, and pulled forcefully outwards. The iron bars were easily pulled apart by his strength, creating a large opening wide enough for one person to pass through.
Indeed, every iron cage in the Magical Congress of the United States of America had various powerful defensive magic spells added to it using Alchemy.
Not to mention them, even a wizard of Grindelwald's level, if imprisoned, would find it difficult to escape without a wand.
However, if magic methods were discarded, these iron cages were no different from the iron cages in a normal Muggle prison.
And with Li Chuan's current physical strength, bolstered by Chakra, bending the iron bars of the prison by hand truly posed no difficulty.
"You wizards are truly too strong!"
Jacob, who was sitting on the iron bed, watched Li Chuan bend the iron cage with his bare hands and was so scared that he jumped directly off the bed.
And Newt and Tina, standing in front of the iron cage, were not much better than Jacob; both were equally terrified:
"No, no, not all of us wizards are that powerful; it's just that he is that powerful."
Are you kidding? They were wizards who could use magic, but their physical strength wasn't much stronger than Muggles. How could it be possible to bend such thick iron bars with bare hands without using magic? It was simply incredible.
"I've actually always suspected that my ancestors might have had giant or troll blood."
After Li Chuan pulled open a large enough gap, he casually made a joke.
But Newt and Tina both nodded seriously at the same time, apparently not thinking it was a joke, but rather that only such an explanation seemed reasonable.
"Hurry up, or it will be too late if we are discovered later."
Jacob was the first to squeeze out of the opening, with Newt and Tina following closely behind.
"We need to get our case and wands back first!"
"They should be in Percival's office right now."
Without their wands, Newt and Tina would essentially lose their ability to cast spells, and the magical creatures in that case were Newt's treasures; Newt would never abandon them under any circumstances.
Li Chuan had naturally anticipated this situation. He pulled out three sets of wizard robes from his small pouch and threw them to Newt and the others.
"You put them on and follow me."
"Mr. Cassie, your visit is over?"
At the prison entrance, two Aurors saw Li Chuan, who had transformed into Rob Cassie, and smiled as they opened the door.
"Yes, thank you for today. Let's go for some Gillywater after work tonight. It's on me!"
Once the two Aurors opened the door, Li Chuan walked out with a full smile, his hands behind his back, concealing his wand.
After quickly checking that there were no other wizards nearby, as one of the Aurors turned his back to lock the door, he swiftly pulled out his wand and cast a Stupefy Curse on the unsuspecting Aurors who was about to agree to his offer.
"Stupefy!"
Immediately following, he then cast another Stupefy Curse on the second wizard, who was halfway through locking the door, realized something was wrong, and was about to pull out his wand.
"Alright, come out!"
Pushing the door open, Newt, Tina, and Jacob, wearing wizard robes that covered most of their faces, quickly ran out.
"Transformation Technique!"
At this moment, Li Chuan activated his Transformation Technique again. This time, he transformed into Percival Graves, the Director of Magical Security for the Magical Congress of the United States of America.
"I hope everything goes smoothly, otherwise we'll be surrounded by all the Aurors of the Magical Congress of the United States of America."
Seeing Li Chuan transform into Percival, Tina secretly prayed that they would have a smooth journey and not encounter the real one on the way.
However, what she didn't know was that the so-called real one was actually also an impostor at the moment; if they did meet, it was uncertain who would be exposed first.
"Red, to my office!"
Inside the magical elevator, Li Chuan instructed the old goblin.
The old goblin looked at Tina and the two others behind Li Chuan with some confusion, but didn't dare to ask further, and directly pressed the corresponding floor.
Along the way, when other wizards shared the elevator, they would politely greet Li Chuan as Officer, and Li Chuan would simply nod.
And when they saw Newt and the two others, wearing wizard robes that covered most of their faces, although they found it a bit strange, they didn't say anything more.
In the U.S., to avoid being discovered by Muggles, many wizards had already grown accustomed to wearing the same clothes as Muggles, but there were also a few more traditional wizards who insisted on wearing wizard robes.
They thought Newt and the two others were among those few traditional wizards.
After the magical elevator arrived, Li Chuan, guided by Tina, quickly found Percival's office.
"The Director's office door has very powerful anti-Alohomora (Unlocking Charm) spells. It can't be opened with an Alohomora (Unlocking Charm) without a key."
Tina reminded him.
"No need for such trouble, a more primitive method will be better!"
Li Chuan raised his foot and kicked, directly breaking open the office door.
And on the desk inside the door were Newt and Tina's wands, as well as the case containing a large number of magical creatures.
"You guys hide in the case first. I'll sneak out as Percival."
After a brief discussion, Newt, Tina, and Jacob all entered the case, while Li Chuan continued to impersonate Percival, carrying the case and walking out of the office in a grand manner.
However, just as Li Chuan was about to reach the magical elevator, an unexpected event occurred.
Because he happened to run into Percival Graves, who was Grindelwald in disguise, just coming out of the magical elevator.
The scene instantly became awkward.
However, compared to Li Chuan, Grindelwald on the other side was actually more bewildered.
His first reaction upon seeing Li Chuan was, could it be that Percival Graves wasn't dead and had now escaped back?
It was like Li Gui meeting Li Hei, neither of them being the real Li Kui.
