Chapter 4 - 4

"Okay, I'll call one right away."

Supporting Diana with one arm, Ethan stepped to the roadside and waved to stop a passing taxi.

The car pulled over with a squeal of brakes.

"Auntie, I'll help you in," Ethan said.

"Okay. Ethan… thank you so much today. If it weren't for you, I don't know what might have happened."

Diana's voice carried a trace of lingering fear as Ethan helped her into the back seat.

Once she sat down, she glanced at the driver through the rearview mirror.

He was a somewhat sleazy-looking middle-aged man.

The uneasy feeling in her chest grew stronger.

Turning to Ethan, she said nervously,

"Ethan… could you please come with me? I'm really not feeling well."

"Okay."

Ethan didn't hesitate and got into the car beside her.

The moment he sat down, Diana felt a wave of relief wash over her.

But at the same time, her body was growing hotter and hotter.

Her throat felt dry.

Her fingers moved restlessly against her clothes without her even realizing it.

"Please go to Maple street, driver," Diana said, trying hard to keep her voice steady. "If possible, please go a little faster. Thank you."

The driver replied indifferently,

"There's a lot of traffic. If I can go fast, I will. Saying it won't make it faster."

Seeing this, Ethan calmly took out a hundred dollar bill and tossed it toward the driver.

"This is for you. No need to turn on the meter. Just drive faster."

The driver immediately caught the bill.

The moment he saw the money, his attitude changed completely.

"Well, that's easy to say!"

With a grin, he stepped hard on the accelerator.

The taxi sped up instantly.

"Auntie, it's okay," Ethan said gently. "We'll be home soon."

Looking at Diana's condition, Ethan could already guess what had happened.

She had probably been drugged earlier by that scar-faced man.

At that moment, Diana felt the strange sensation spreading through her entire body.

From the soles of her feet to the top of her head, every nerve felt restless and overheated.

Leaning against Ethan, she could faintly smell the masculine scent coming from him.

Instead of calming her down, it made her even more uneasy.

Her eyes became slightly hazy.

She swallowed nervously.

"Ethan… do you know what's wrong with Auntie?" she asked softly.

Ethan nodded.

That simple movement was enough to answer everything.

Diana relaxed slightly.

She reached out and grabbed Ethan's hand.

"Auntie is single… and you're already an adult…" she whispered quietly. "Help Auntie."

She knew Ethan had already turned eighteen not long ago. Ashley had even attended his birthday celebration.

Ethan froze for a moment.

What kind of situation was this?

On the very first day after being reborn…

Was he really going to become entangled with the mother of the school beauty?

At that moment, the driver glanced at them through the rearview mirror with a knowing smile.

A moment later, he turned the taxi into a quiet intersection where almost no one passed by.

He stopped the car, opened the door, stepped outside, and said with a laugh,

"Three hundred. Not a penny less! Hahaha."

Then he walked a short distance away and lit a cigarette.

As the driver walked away—

Diana couldn't hold back anymore and took the initiative to face Ethan..... her proud figure couldn't be hidden at all, and her every move was full of allure.

Forget it, he doesn't care anymore.

When he come back to the past, he decided to be a carefree playboy!

Therefore, for a woman of Diana's level, normal men can't help it. As a good friend of Ashley! it is his responsibility!

In this life, my younger brother has never been used for real.

Diana straightened her waist, it swayed gently, and the plump melons also rippled left and right.

Ethan also climbed Mount Everest with his hand at this time, and at this moment he discovered that there was a beautiful butterfly entrenched on the two beautiful Mount Everest.

One is active attack, the other is passive defense, and Ethan is naturally the passive defensive side.

As for how to distinguish the winner and loser, the rules are actually very simple.

Whoever surrenders first will naturally lose. With the advancement of time, the whole process has entered a white-hot stage, and the two have comparable "skills" and fight back and forth.

Diana is even more active to the extreme, all kinds of skills can be displayed at will, the whole process is the active attacking side .....

In the end Diana is better, Ethan has just been reborn and has not fully adapted, slightly inferior to Diana.

About an hour later.

Diana slowly straightened her clothes.

The redness on her face gradually faded as she looked at Ethan with a slightly embarrassed expression.

"Ethan… you know the reason for what happened earlier. Please don't blame Auntie."

She smiled bitterly.

Then she opened the car door and stepped out awkwardly.

Ethan wiped the faint lipstick marks from his face and licked his lips slightly, as if still remembering the lingering taste.

After all, the soul he carried had lived through two lifetimes.

Together, his experiences added up to nearly fifty years.

Facing a beautiful and mature woman like Diana had stirred complicated emotions within him.

He stepped out of the car as well.

"Don't worry," Ethan said calmly. "I won't tell anyone about this."

"Thank you…"

Diana replied awkwardly.

At that moment, the driver hurried back after finishing his cigarette.

"Young man, don't forget the three hundred you promised."

"Don't worry. I won't give you less."

Ethan took out the money and handed it to him.

"Continue."

"Alright, let's go."

The car started moving again.

The driver glanced at Ethan through the rearview mirror and laughed.

"You're something else, kid. Pretty impressive."

Ethan simply smiled without replying.

Beside him, Diana sat quietly with slightly flushed cheeks.

The embarrassment in her heart had not completely faded.

During the ride, Ethan thought about many things.

Although Diana was already thirty-three years old, she had maintained herself incredibly well.

Her figure was graceful, and she still looked youthful and elegant.

But there was one unavoidable problem—

She was Ashley's mother.

Just thinking about it made Ethan feel a slight headache.

Forget it, he thought.

Life after rebirth…

I'll just take things one step at a time.

Beside him, Diana remained silent, feeling overwhelmed by guilt and embarrassment.

She had crossed such a line with her daughter's classmate.

And it had happened inside a taxi.

It was the most humiliating thing she could imagine.

After a while, the driver spoke again.

"We arrived."

Diana quickly opened the door and stepped out.

"Ethan, Auntie will go back first. Be careful on your way home."

After saying that, she hurried into the residential complex without looking back.

"Driver, just take me to New South," Ethan said, shaking his head slightly.

"Okay. We'll be there in ten minutes."

The driver stepped on the accelerator again.

Meanwhile—

Diana ran downstairs toward her apartment building.

The moment she remembered what had happened in the taxi earlier, her face flushed red again.

She sighed softly.

"Diana… Diana… what were you thinking?"

From beginning to end, she had been the one who took the initiative.

Just thinking about it made her cheeks burn with embarrassment.

Yet the memory refused to fade.

She shook her head hard, trying to suppress those thoughts.

"You must control yourself… you can't act like this again."

"That's Ashley's classmate…"

But after a moment, another thought surfaced in her mind.

She was single.

And Ethan was already an adult.

Legally speaking, there was nothing wrong.

Remembering the overwhelming emotions earlier made her smile helplessly for a moment before she quickly suppressed the thought again.

"No… enough. Don't think about it anymore."

Yet no matter how hard she tried to push the memory away, it kept resurfacing in her mind, making it impossible to completely forget.
