Days after days, we kept questioning her but we got no reply. "What do we got?" Tom asked nizel. "Same as always... Her mouth's still sealed. "We'll try again tomorrow" Tom said as he saw some Senior class guardians already suited up and was ready for action." Do y'all have a duty today if I may ask." Tom said. "Yes sir, we heard there was a beast in detroit at the field." They replied. "I'd have really love to go with you guys." I said. Without a second thought, tom didn't think about it before sending me to go with them.
As soon as I saw the beast, I nearly peed my pants but the other guardians, they just stared at it and one of them even said it was admirable.
"What on earth are you saying!!!!!,this is not a game!!" I shouted at them but they totally ignored my speakings. "Cmon, it's destroying Detroit." I just felt like killing them all." If you're the good one here why don't you go out there and kill it!!!!" One of them shouted back at me. "Alight, but I'm gonna tell Tom and you are all gonna be screwed". I said as I left, but they still seemed totolly unconcerned.
As time passed, it started to seem like they wanted me to defeat it alone. "I could need some help" I said as i realize I couldn't counter any other attacks. It seemed like it has learnt all my moves. "You can do it, just gotta focus." They shouted all the way back. [Monster snarls] As the monster contined blocking all my attacks and dodging all my moves, he lunched a powerful attack containing a virus. "With the help of the devil, I summon the dragon spirit." I turned back into that fire breathing dragon converting all my powers into one final blast creating a huge combo.
I flew towards him with the speed of lightening targeting his weaking point {Neck}. I went for it, slicing of his head from his body and then, it burnt to ash.
"Whoa... That was amazing, tom is going to be amazed, you completed your first task, now let's head back to HQ" One of the guardians said. "This explains everything, is all this a game?." I asked. They just ignored me as they walked away.
My name was in the mouth of everyone in HQ. ""Did you heard the new boy called nick did a solo kill?""" Different guardians and different news. I continued walking until I got to the bosses office. "Whoa.... There's the superhero" Tom said Welcoming me into his office."Hey bro you gotta listen, I'm not here for games, that thing could've taken my life out there." I wasn't ready for jokes, he didn't even reacted, he just made a useless smile as he stared at me like an imbesle. "It could've but it didn't,wait you think you're just gonna fight with some low class guardians and you pass your training??, you are just a low class Guardian, you only fought with third grade Guardians, do you know that a 20th class Guardian can take down a whole city with one strike." That was so insane." How on Earth am I supposed to get strong like the 20th class Guardian, I mean you said I'm a 3rd Class Guardian." Easy like a biscuit that's what they say, risk it for the biscuit, every morning, from today, you'll be given a daily task, if you complete your task you will be giving a weapon or a special kind of power that will be stored in your inventory." That was like the best thing I've ever heard in my entire life. " If you answer this one question I will let the rest slide,........How on Earth am I supposed to know my daily task not to even talk about my inventory!!." I screamed at his face. " j e e z.... it's like a screensaver a very big computer screen that only the user can see, all your weapons and your abilities will be stored in it and you can also see your daily task and how many you have completed."
"Boss??... She still hasn't said anything" An assistant said walking into the office. "We'll try again tomo....." The boss said but i didnt let him finish. "Where is she, I'm gonna try....?" I asked. "Second story" The assistant said.
"Alright Erica, it's either the hard way or the easy way, let's start with the hard way, I'm gonna drench you with lava and you're gonna have a slow death or you'll tell me who you're working for and you're still going to be perfectly fine." I asked. "Just kill me already" She didn't even felt scared. "As you wish....." I said as I created a hot flaming ball and turned it onto her dripping easily as she couldn't move due to the chains. She kept on screaming and screaming until she finally agreed to speak. "I....w o..rk for the gods, I'm the daughter of a God, the Queen mother, now can you just please stop it." She kept on screaming until i stopped it from dripping on her, her whole body was burning until the assistant rushed in with a ice cold bucket of water that was about to be drenched on her. "You see that wasn't so hard, now I want you to tell your queen mother or whatever, I'm gonna be waiting and prepared for them." I said as i walked out of the room.
Hours later
[Nickolas chilling in his room] Someone knocking at the door..... "Come in..." I saw the shock of my life, Nikital walked in but wasn't wearing her guardian outfit. "You know tom can kill you for this right??" I asked but she ignored and kept on walking closer until she got close enough, she sat right next to me holding my hand. "Nick, I've been wanting to tell you,,,, I really really love you, sorry i haven't been able to tell you soon enough" I kept still for some while.... I really didn't think any girl would've ever say this to me after all the bullying. "I..I.I. Love you too...." I was like in an ocean of thought right at that moment. She gave me a kiss on the lips as she was about walking out telling me she was going to be back.... I walked right behind her as i locked the door as soon as she came out. I really wasn't ready to face that again.
