Seraphina's Point Of View
"What?!"
The word came out muffled. My mouth was still full. My brain struggled to catch up with what he had just said.
Lucian did not look like he was joking.
His eyes stayed on mine, calm and focused in a way that made the air inside the car shift slightly.
"You heard me," he said.
I swallowed halfway, still confused.
"You want… what?"
"The one in your mouth."
I blinked.
My brain ran through several possible interpretations and rejected all of them.
"You're joking."
"I'm not."
I stared at him like he had suddenly lost his mind.
"Lucian."
"Yes."
"Are you sure you're okay?"
His eyes darkened slightly at that.
"I'm fine."
"You just asked for the food in my mouth."
"Yes."
"From my mouth."
"Yes."
"That's weird."
He tilted his head slightly.
"You said you eat like a pig."
"That doesn't mean you get to rob my mouth."
