My fingers trembled so badly that I almost dropped my phone twice on the cool marble tiles. I unlocked the screen and pulled up Kelvin's contact. Kelvin… the man my father had meticulously designated for me.
My thumb hovered right over the call button, ready to press it, while a small, desperate part of me wondered if maybe, just this once, I could trust someone with the truth.
