Rex walked into the room with a confident, almost threatening step. He looked around for a second before seeing Bryan, who was tied to the chair and looked shocked and scared.
Linda stood still to the side, her tail slowly moving back and forth. And there was Marceline, looking beautiful in a robe that sparkled in the candlelight.
She had her arms crossed and a fierce look of determination on her face. "I forgot to introduce someone who's going to live in this inn for his entire life."
"And... he's also my affair if you want to call it that." Marceline chuckled. "His name is Rex Rexilion... and he's super hot, charming, and reliable... unlike someone who goes out with our saving money to pay women!"
"Well, well, well," Rex said, his voice dripping with fake sympathy. "Bryan, is it...?"
"I've heard a lot about you, and... I have to say, you don't look as impressive as I thought you would." Rex laughed. "But... I guess that's to be expected, given the situation."
