Chapter 300 - Gwen VS Demon King Lucas

Time flew by, and another three to five to seven days passed.

After Lucas and the Creator settled on the terms, Lucas first set about removing the deeply rooted foreign primordial energy from Atum. This was both Lucas's agreement with Gaea and a demonstration for the Creator.

Although the process was somewhat painful and agonizing, Atum's healing operation was a complete success. Lucas's superb energy control earned him five-star reviews from both the Creator and Gaea.

Afterward, Lucas accompanied Wanda on two tours of Earth-616 before they returned to Earth-404 together.

Earth-404, New York, Lucas Bookstore, seventh-floor bedroom.

As midnight approached, Gwen suddenly opened her eyes.

The night was deep, and the citizens of New York were once again calling for their friendly neighborhood Ghost-Spider.

She gently slipped out of Lucas's arms, then moved his leg, freeing herself from his embrace. This set of movements was fluid and practiced, far more skilled than Wanda's.

Afterward, Gwen washed her face.

Although the citizens of New York were calling, tonight's Ghost-Spider seemed exceptionally tired.

After invigorating herself, Gwen took out a brand new spider suit from the closet and deftly put it on. Then she opened the window and leaped out of the not-so-large window.

Whoosh!

The whistling night wind and the sound of Gwen's figure cutting through the air simultaneously entered the bedroom.

Lucas slowly opened his eyes.

Although Gwen's movements were very careful, Lucas and Gwen knew each other inside and out.

He had already woken up as soon as Gwen made a move.

"What happened to that 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' thing?" Lucas sighed.

He had thought that after being away from Earth-404 for over a month, he wouldn't lose his cuddle buddy on the first night back. For this, he had even repeatedly displayed the spirit of the Sorcerer Supreme's dedication to helping others.

However, sighing was one thing. Lucas had no intention of stopping Gwen.

As partners, respecting each other's work was very important.

If Gwen stayed home quietly every night, she wouldn't be the Ghost-Spider.

Shifting his body, Lucas closed his eyes and fell asleep again.

Although the Sorcerers Supreme were all masters of time management, this was his first night back on Earth-404, and Lucas wasn't in a hurry.

While Lucas was alone in his room, Pepper was also alone in hers.

Avengers Tower, Tony's laboratory, was brightly lit at this moment.

"Jarvis, have all the data streams been exported?" Tony asked, holding a cup of coffee and standing by the workbench.

"Sir, all data has been exported. However, this data uses a completely different set of characters and technical standards from Earth, and it will take time to translate."

"No need to translate it. There will inevitably be errors in translation."

Tony slowly finished the coffee in his hand, put down the coffee cup, and a light of wisdom flickered in his eyes.

"Organize these characters and technical standards. I'll stay up late to study them these next few days."

"Spaceship technology that can travel through various Universes and even go beyond the Multiverse? This is too interesting."

"Yes, sir."

Jarvis's voice sounded, and at this moment, there was a faint excitement and joy in his voice as well.

Nepal, Kamar-Taj.

"Strange, you're finally back."

The female Ancient One saw Strange from afar and quickly walked over.

She patted Strange's shoulder and said earnestly, "Now that you're back, the important task of protecting reality is entrusted to you."

Lucas's first night back on Earth-404 was long.

The spaceship technology given by the Watcher, the chain reaction caused by the Ultron Legion's massacre of millions of Universes.

Everything was fermenting.

But Lucas didn't care about any of that right now.

He only cared about one thing, he had been caught again.

As soon as Lucas stirred, a muffled voice sounded.

"Lucas, don't move. It's Wanda."

Lucas remained silent, merely closing his eyes in helplessness.

He knew this was the calm before the storm.

Gwen and Wanda, he could still tell them apart.

Besides, the texture of their hair was different.

Lucas thought to himself as he stroked Gwen's beautiful hair.

Although Gwen was most likely just bluffing him, Lucas didn't intend to lie. One lie requires countless other lies to cover it up.

He deliberately asked, "Are you ready for days to feel like years, Wanda?"

Days feeling like years was somewhat exaggerated, but Gwen did indeed feel what it was like for days to feel like years.

The next day.

Lucas slowly woke up from bed.

He looked at Gwen, whose Scarlet Witch outfit was hanging on the bed, and shook his head.

Never mind, there's no point in saying more.

Actions speak louder than words.

Thinking of this, Lucas couldn't help but reveal a big bad wolf-like smile.

These women, one after another, were constantly thinking of ambushing him.

Lucas personally helped the sleepy Gwen put on her Ghost-Spider suit.

Gwen lied on the bed, muttering somewhat dazedly, "Is it dark?"

Lucas shook his head. "No, it's light."

"Then why are you putting this outfit on me? And why does it feel a bit drafty?"

The next morning.

After two days and four nights of exertion, Lucas extended his wicked hand towards Kamar-Taj.

Golden sparks flickered, and a portal slowly formed.

Before long, the dining table was filled with various breakfast items.

Smack!

"Gwen, wake up for breakfast."

"Stop it, it hurts."

Gwen slapped Lucas's hand away, then pushed herself up on her arms and shuffled towards the bathroom.

Afterward, she turned back and glared fiercely at Lucas. She picked up her toothbrush, but the more she brushed, the angrier she got, and the harder she brushed. With a snap, the toothbrush broke.

"Damn villain!"

The more Gwen thought about it, the angrier she got. She hurled the broken toothbrush fiercely at Lucas.

At the same time, enduring the faint discomfort in her legs, she clenched her fists and lunged forward.

Crack... Crack ...

Bang!

"Ah!"

Lucas screamed as he was hit square in the chest by Gwen's straight punch, flying backward and landing on the floor. Along the way, he crashed through countless pieces of furniture.

"Drama queen." Gwen fiercely said.

She casually picked up a glass of water from the dining table to rinse her mouth, then pressed her advantage, pouncing on Lucas.

Gwen took advantage of Lucas being on the ground, straddling him. She clenched her fists, punching him again and again.

"That's for making days feel like years."

Gwen punched and grumbled incessantly, occasionally huffing and puffing with anger.

Lucas cooperated with her by screaming in pain, while also holding Gwen's slender waist with both hands to help her stay steady.

Sometimes, sitting back and doing nothing is also a good experience.

After more than half an hour, Gwen finally deflated.

She was exhausted, and lied weakly on Lucas's chest. But seeing Lucas completely unharmed, without even a single bruise on his chest, she got furious again.

She opened her mouth wide and sank her fangs in fiercely.

Lucas cried out in pain, flipping over and throwing Gwen off.

Gwen had deflated, but Lucas had not. He was now restless after too much stillness.

At noon, the sun was blazing.

Lucas let Gwen relax for a while.

With a wave of his hand, the Mirror Dimension was dispelled, and the broken furniture returned to its original, undamaged state.

With great perseverance, Lucas helped Gwen wash herself and change into a casual home outfit.

The two snuggled up to the dining table, where the various breakfast items were still steaming hot.

Gwen refused the chair Lucas had pulled out for her. She sat directly on Lucas's lap, hinting meaningfully, "Lucas, don't you get tired of eating this all the time? Do you want to try a new flavor?"

"Of course not."

Lucas adjusted Gwen further in, making her more comfortable. Then he pointed to the various breakfast items on the table and said, "These dishes can be eaten in the morning, at noon, in the evening, twenty-four hours a day. And there are so many varieties. so you'll never get tired of eating it."

"Is that so? That's more like it." Gwen snorted.

She closed her eyes and opened her mouth, signaling Lucas to feed her.

Lucas readily agreed.

Gwen's tongue felt a chill, then she bit. She immediately realized the texture was wrong.

"Ptooey! Ptooey!"

"Lucas, why did you put your hand in?"

"I thought you wanted to suck your fingers like a child."

Lucas gave a mischievous smile, then he stopped teasing Gwen and began to feed her seriously.

While enjoying Lucas's service, Gwen picked up the remote and turned on the TV.

She wanted to know if the citizens of New York City missed her, their friendly neighbor, after Ghost-Spider had been missing for over four days.

With various supernatural events frequently occurring recently, New York really needed her.

"The Daily Bugle reports to you. Ghost-Spider has been missing for four days, and the general public is very concerned about her safety."

"Please rest assured, according to informed sources—"

The radio host reported, while cutting to the back of Sorcerer Spider-Man—Erin, also dressed in silver, the implication was clear.

"According to informed sources, Ghost-Spider is not injured. So why has Ghost-Spider gone missing?"

Gwen rolled her eyes and pressed the remote to change the channel.

This radio host kept repeating the same old clichés.

Besides, who would know better than her why Ghost-Spider had gone missing?

Ghost-Spider, resting, encountered the great demon king Lucas, and fought with all her might for five days and four nights but could not win.
