Chapter 188 - Chapter 188 Loki's Escape

The black cloak covering his body slipped off, and an old man with an octopus-like face turned to look at Thor.

With a wave of his hand.

He elegantly raised one hand and gently...

Two steel cables instantly emerged from the floor of the shop, quickly wrapping around Thor's feet, lifting him up, and slamming him hard against the wall behind him.

In the past, Thor wouldn't have been injured, but he certainly wouldn't have been able to break free immediately.

But now it was different. Thor, having awakened the power of lightning, a large amount of lightning gathered beneath his feet, instantly melting back the lightning binding his feet.

Then he pointed both hands at Ebony, and a large amount of lightning directly struck.

"Trouble!"

Ebony frowned slightly and clasped his hands together.

The metal walls on both sides of the shop and the ceiling above were instantly controlled by terrifying telekinesis, covering and sealing Thor and the lightning he unleashed.

"Boom!"

The entire purchasing shop exploded, and Thor, his body crackling with lightning, shot out again.

At that moment, the three-meter-tall figure behind Ebony tore off his cloak, drew his mechanical axe, and swung it fiercely.

Thor tried to dodge, but was suddenly struck from behind by an object controlled by Ebony's telekinesis.

Thus, Thor was violently sent flying by the mechanical axe, crashing through over a dozen mining ships before barely managing to stop himself.

"Do you know who you're fighting? Do you know what the consequences of protecting Loki are?"

Thor stood on a protruding bone, his body crackling with lightning.

He was truly enraged by these two aliens who dared to obstruct him from bringing his brat home.

"Thor, the God of Thunder of Asgard, of course, I know you, but this man is someone the great Thanos needs. I hope you can give me some face."

Ebony Maw used a massive metal object to lift himself, Ebony Maw, and Loki, appearing directly opposite Thor.

"Thanos, what is that? Does he deserve my respect?"

Thor stretched out his hand, and Mjolnir flew from the Ape God, and landed in his right hand.

Originally, he thought that with his awakened power of thunder, there was no danger in this Nowhere.

So he didn't bring Mjolnir with him when he disembarked.

But now Loki's two henchmen were indeed a problem. Without using Mjolnir, it would be difficult for him to take Loki away.

"How dare you, Blackdwarf! Kill him!"

Ebony Maw's expression changed instantly upon hearing this, and he angrily ordered

Blackdwarf beside him.

Blackdwarf's face instantly broke into a cruel smile, and he leaped towards Thor, mechanical axe in hand.

"Let's go."

Ebony Maw didn't stay to help, but instead carried Loki directly to the platform where the ship was docked.

Loki carried clues to the Infinity Stones; his loss was not an option.

However, they hadn't flown far when they saw Blackdwarf fly back violently, crashing beside them, his helmet shattered.

Clearly, Blackdwarf alone couldn't stop Thor, who had now awakened his lightning powers and wielded Mjolnir.

"Trouble."

Ebony Maw waved his hand, and a small section of the metal plate beneath his feet split off, carrying Loki towards the platform, while he turned and stood with Blackdwarf.

"Go and fly the spaceship to the outskirts of Nowhere and wait for us. The Vanguard will be there to meet you."

"Goodbye, my foolish brother!"

Loki waved at Thor upon hearing this, then flew towards the platform on the metal plate.

Thor looked even stronger than before, and he wouldn't stay to fight him head-on, especially since he was already outmatched.

Even if Ebony Maw hadn't said anything, he would have used magic to escape first.

"Loki, don't run, come home with me!"

Thor brandished his hammer and chased after Loki.

Unfortunately, he was quickly stopped by Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf working together.

As Thanos's most powerful Black Order members, both were battle-hardened veterans.

Perhaps they weren't a match for Thor one-on-one, but in a two-on-one situation, they could temporarily suppress Thor.

However, the battle between the three caused immense destruction to the surrounding area.

"That's Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf!"

In the black market, both the shop owners and the customers were visibly shocked.

Thanos was seen by everyone in the four-star systems as an incomprehensible, monstrous, and deranged killer.

Finally, he was an uncontrollable mass murderer.

The Kree were already quite tyrannical, but when they conquered enemy planets, they only executed the defending soldiers who could not resist.

Even Ronan, the most ruthless of the Kree Empires, enjoyed slaughtering the Xandarians, which was somewhat understandable due to generations of hatred.

But Thanos was different. He attacked any planet he could conquer, indiscriminately and ruthlessly annihilated half the life on each one.

He was simply a madman.

Everyone was afraid of being targeted by this madman, including the people in the black market.

So when they recognized the two fighting in the sky as Thanos's two most trusted lieutenants, Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf, they didn't dare to get involved.

Even though they often talked about Thanos and his fleet, and even though many of their planets had been visited by Thanos, they genuinely didn't dare offend Thanos.

"Who is that guy? He's incredibly powerful, daring to provoke Thanos's men and still managing to fight like this?"

While they dared not intervene, they could still watch from below.

"He looks like an Asgardian!"

Some knowledgeable people below immediately recognized Thor from his clothing and weapons.

"These aren't ordinary Asgardians. Look at that hammer... could he be Thor from Asgard?"

"Thanos and the Asgardians are at odds! Great!"

"What are you thinking? The Asgardians never get involved in the affairs of the four star systems. Besides, Thanos and his fleet are always elusive; they're not so easy to locate."

While countless people in the black market were watching this war closely, Taneleer Tivan, the owner of the black market and a collector, also received the news from his subordinates.

"Thanos and the Asgardians, what a nuisance." He didn't allow the black market's armed forces to intervene in the battle; instead, he chose silence.

He couldn't afford to offend either Thanos or Asgard.

Although he had lived for countless years and possessed immortality, his strength wasn't great.

His black market guards were perfectly capable of dealing with ordinary enemies.

But against Thanos's fleet and the Asgardian army, they were like a mantis trying to stop a chariot.

Therefore, pretending not to see anything and waiting for the battle to end before leaving was the best course of action.

As for losses, he was so wealthy...

Why would they care about that little loss?

They wouldn't demolish the entire Nowhere, would they?
