"Finally, we've reached the Milky Way! If all goes well, we should be back in Midgard in half a month!"
The Ape God passed through a massive wormhole. Looking at the star map displayed on the ship, Thor, who had been punched in the eye, showed a relieved expression.
He had finally awakened his lightning powers, but he was still no match for Goku.
Even with Mjolnir's assistance, his sparring partner was still on the receiving end; Goku was improving too fast.
Therefore, he really wanted to reach Midgard as soon as possible to end these repeated blows to his body and mind.
Currently, the entire universe is roughly divided into four major star systems:
The Large Magellanic Cloud, the Andromeda Galaxy, the Shi'ar Galaxy, and the Milky Way.
These star systems each contain over a thousand planets and are composed of their own powerful factions.
The largest power in the Large Magellanic Cloud is the Kree Empire, in the Andromeda Galaxy, the Skrull Empire, and in the Shi'ar Galaxy, the Shi'ar Empire.
The Milky Way Galaxy is dominated by the Nova Empire.
The Kree Empire is the most ambitious, having annexed the Skrull Empire over twenty years ago, and is currently at war with the Nova Empire.
The Shi'ar Empire has maintained neutrality, not joining the war, but seems to be reaping the benefits.
Asgard has all this information recorded.
Although Asgardians rarely venture beyond the Nine Realms, they constantly monitor the major powers of the universe.
The Nine Realms. After all, they need to prevent the flames of war from spreading to the Nine Realms.
Therefore, as the future King of Asgard, Thor is well aware of these basic facts.
"Thor, there's no more food."
Goku, gnawing on a bone from some unknown creature, poked his head out of the cabin.
Thor glanced at the star map, then turned the helm, causing the ship to veer off course:
"There's a famous black market nearby called the Nowhere. We should be able to buy plenty of food there."
Nine months had passed since they set off from Asgard, and their food supplies were long gone.
So, they would basically buy or hunt food from nearby planets, following the star map.
As a legendary race in the universe, Asgard possessed resources that were definitely comparable to any empire in the major star systems.
They could easily exchange anything they brought out for a large amount of cosmic currency.
Therefore, they had no worries about running out of money for food supplies.
As for planets that hadn't yet developed sufficient civilization and advanced intelligent life, still in a very primitive ecological state, that was even easier.
A quick trip with lightning and thunder, and they'd have everything they needed.
The taste could even be adjusted to Asgardian flavors using Goku's cooking magic.
Half a day later, Thor and Goku stared in horror at the enormous head before them.
"I finally understand why Father said there are beings in the universe more powerful than him," Thor exclaimed, looking at the head.
He knew the Nowhere; it was the largest black market in the galaxy, controlled by the collector Taneleer Tivan, who had lived for countless years.
But he had never been here before, assuming it was a planet.
He never expected it to be a head.
A head comparable in size to a planet—one could only imagine how enormous its body must have been before it died.
The power contained within such a massive body was probably beyond even Odin's reach.
And what kind of powerful being could kill such a terrifying creature and sever its head?
No wonder Father, after conquering the Nine Realms, didn't continue the war to conquer the entire universe.
Perhaps besides understanding the concept of "peace," there's also the existence of such terrifying life forms in the universe.
"I need to work even harder!"
Goku looked at the enormous head, his face filled with a yearning to become stronger.
In this world, there are such powerful beings.
He really wanted to fight such powerful beings.
He felt that if he had the chance in the future, he should come back to this world more often.
Besides making Thor as a good friend, he also discovered that this world truly has many truly powerful masters.
Although for him now, he couldn't even touch the bottom of these masters, he could catch up in the future.
"Still trying? You're the hardest-working person I've ever seen!" Thor couldn't help but twitch his lips upon hearing this. In terms of training, he simply couldn't compete with Goku.
So, he gave up, and even his combat training, starting today, wasn't going to continue. Anyway, even with Mjolnir, he wasn't a match for Goku.
Through the enormous eye sockets within the skull, they entered the skull's interior in a queue, following a spaceship that had arrived from all corners of the universe.
Standing on the deck, Thor and Goku looked around and saw countless small mining ships. They are currently collecting tissue from the inside of the skull.
From the fall of a whale, all things come to life. This skull of an unknown, incredibly powerful creature contains every single substance, even a single nerve.
For most life forms in the universe, it is an invaluable treasure.
Whether consumed as food to strengthen the body and extend lifespan, or used to create various enhancement agents for biological research, etc.
"Goku, the Nowhere is the largest black market in the Milky Way. It is said to be lawless, a paradise for cosmic criminals, and extremely dangerous."
Thor spoke of information about the Nowhere, but his expression showed no tension or fear. Danger was for ordinary aliens. Who was he?
The mighty Asgardian God of Thunder, who had awakened the power of lightning.
As for Goku, he was even less likely to be in danger. He felt that if they encountered trouble here, the danger wouldn't be theirs, but rather the Nowhere themselves.
Following the fleet of ships, they flew to a massive platform, presumably located at the back of the giant creature's skull, near the occipital bone.
This was clearly where the Nowhere used to park their ships. Looking out, a vast expanse of strangely shaped ships stretched as far as the eye could see. Even so, when the ape...
When the Ape God landed on the platform, it still attracted the attention of most people. Even among so many strange and unusual spaceships, the Ape God was truly unique.
The spaceships on the platform, no matter how bizarre their shapes or how special their materials, all had largely similar internal technology.
Just like civilian airplanes, fighter jets, and helicopters, although their external appearances differed, everyone understood what they were doing.
However, one day, a giant bamboo dragonfly suddenly appeared in the air. Moreover, its altitude and speed surpassed those of fighter jets and helicopters, making it hard not to attract attention.
Furthermore, this bamboo dragonfly, comparable in size to a fighter jet, wasn't made of ordinary bamboo. It wasn't made of wood, but of gold.
How could it not catch your eye?
