Chapter 12 - The Entire Xia Kingdom Was Shocked

The heated discussion ignited by the Audience Network spread far faster than Jiang Yi had imagined.

Or rather he had underestimated the combined "communication effect" of the Audience Network's content and the dreamers themselves.

Those few simple clips contained countless real-world locations and characters. Even someone with slightly below-average intelligence could guess that this wasn't some fake movie.

Nobody…

In other words, the ones who created these fragments were not human at all which was why they could gather senior officials from various countries inside them.

Of course, the "Observer" played by Jiang Yi became the focal point of everyone's attention.

At this moment, Jiang Yi felt the same way the Xia officials had back then: the Observer's existence was almost godlike.

"Observer… what kind of existence is this…?"

Xia Kingdom Imperial Capital

In this center of power where officials competed and watched each other like hawks an old man in a Huxia tunic suit sat on a chair, watching "The Age of Warriors" on the Audience Network.

When he saw himself in the video, a chill crawled up his spine.

Because he was absolutely certain: every word, every action, every decision matched perfectly.

No errors in terrain. No errors in buildings. No errors in personnel. Not even in the strictest schedules.

It was as if…

…it really was him in another world.

"Have you found out anything?" the old man asked, turning toward the personal guard at his side.

"I'm sorry, Chief." The middle-aged man in a security uniform shook his head. "No matter how the technical staff check, they can't locate the specific information of this website… and they can't force it to close."

"Judging from the current situation, if we want to prevent the spread of the website, the only way is to block network signals across the entire country."

The old man wasn't surprised by the answer.

Facing a mysterious existence like the Observer, what was truly strange about Xia Kingdom failing to uncover anything?

He spoke again, voice calm:

"Have all the people and information in the video been verified?"

This time, the guard didn't look embarrassed. He pulled out a stack of documents, flipped through them, and replied:

"All Xia citizens who appeared in the video have been registered. All talents involved in genetic medicine research have been protected. As soon as we received the news, all outstanding overseas talents were brought back to the country."

"As for the existence of Huang… we're still searching."

Hearing that, the old man nodded slightly. His eyes narrowed, and he sank into deep thought.

If everything on the Audience Network was true…

Then where did it come from, and what purpose was it created for?

Observer? Audience Network?

If there was no connection between the two, the old man would never believe it.

"Could it be that…" he murmured, eyes heavy, "His Majesty found it too boring to observe the development of mankind alone so he asked the humans of this world to watch together, to add a little interest?"

It was a guess.

Or rather, it was what everyone guessed.

Using mortal logic to pry at an existence that was most likely a god.

"However…" the old man's expression turned solemn, "rather than trying to understand His Majesty's intentions, the most urgent matter right now is to guard against the arrival of the meteorites…"

He suddenly let out a bitter smile.

If the meteorite truly fell on Blue Star, there was no chance current human technology could intercept it successfully.

The only option would be the same as in the Age of Warriors: to build underground fortresses in advance.

The old man sighed, a headache forming.

In the end, being cautious was never wrong.

"Chief," the guard beside him asked cautiously, "although we can't shut down the Audience Network, we can block and delete related discussions and disturbances. Should we…?"

The old man shook his head calmly.

"No need."

"No matter how tightly you seal it, you can't completely block this kind of thing. Worse other countries may ridicule us for 'shutting down the nation.'"

He paused, then continued in a meaningful tone:

"Not to mention… His Majesty the Observer has set up a special Audience Network, yet we deliberately block the news."

"Perhaps that would offend Him. I don't know."

The guard shuddered.

Offending a suspected god on purpose?

That was not a sensible thing to do.

"Keep an eye on other countries," the old man said, turning cold and decisive. "Reduce export trade volume. Increase the import of basic supplies."

He stood up and looked out the window at the scenery beyond the glass.

"This world is going to change."

Within twenty-four hours of Jiang Yi practicing the technique, the turmoil caused by the Audience Network and the dreamers spread rapidly across the Xia Kingdom.

Even ordinary internet users noticed the existence of that "simple little website."

A suffocating storm hung over the Xia Kingdom and gradually spread to the entire world waiting only for Jiang Yi's next move to detonate it.

"Call !"

Exhaling a breath of hot air, Jiang Yi stood up inside his rental house.

The moment he opened his eyes, it was as if two rays of light shot out.

After briefly checking the system panel, he understood the current situation of the Audience Network.

"The officials noticed it already… much faster than expected."

Jiang Yi murmured. But he had no intention of taking the next step yet.

The best time to release the diluted virus was after the existence of the Audience Network continued fermenting for a while longer.

"System. Select the initial file. Load directly."

[The archive is loaded successfully. The deduction begins.]

With the familiar system prompt, the scene before Jiang Yi changed once again into the familiar deduction world.

The bustling city before the meteorite fell.

The corners of Jiang Yi's mouth lifted slightly.

In a sense, this was the true starting point of the dreams.

"This time, we have to prepare with both hands…"

As Jiang Yi spoke, two bottles of Genetic Medicine Type III appeared in his hands.

One bottle he planned to give directly to the young Huang, letting this future Martial Ancestor obtain the physical fitness of an adult from the very start.

The other bottle would be given to the old man of the Xia Kingdom, instructing him to send people to study it.

"It's really an exciting development," Jiang Yi said with a smile.

It was foreseeable

this deduction would reach unprecedented heights.
