Chapter 155 - Chapter 155: I Can’t Help Myself (Part 1)

"So, it's that time of the month."

Seeing Wanda's expression, Hawking finally realized that this wasn't just a regular stomach ache, but the one that came every month.

If it were a normal stomach ache, Wanda would have probably already been clinging to him, nagging him to take her to the medical room.

However, even if it was that time of the month, he couldn't let Wanda go to the medical room by herself.

Because with Wanda's temper, if she found the door locked, she would definitely use Alohomora to open it immediately, and then the situation would be awkward.

"I'll go with you, I also have something to discuss with Professor Jean."

"Ah, okay then."

Wanda paused for a moment, but still nodded in agreement.

Although going with Hawking for this kind of thing was a bit embarrassing, thinking about him going alone to see Jean, a man and a woman alone in a room, made her even more uncomfortable.

Because in her heart, Jean was also that kind of sexy and mature beauty, exactly Hawking's type.

"I didn't expect a Witch with Chaos Magic to also have that time of the month. It seems that time of the month is truly a woman's greatest enemy."

Supporting Wanda back to the medical room door, Hawking reached out and tried the door:

"It's locked. Professor Jean is probably doing an experiment inside."

"Alohomora!"

Wanda heard this and immediately raised her hand to use Alohomora, but Hawking stopped her.

"That's impolite. What if Professor Jean is at a critical moment in her experiment? Going in like that would disturb her."

"I just wanted to sneak in, grab the medicine, and leave. What do I do now?"

Wanda clutched her stomach, looking pitiful.

Hawking thought for a moment and said:

"I'll help you back to the dorm to rest first. Once Professor Jean is finished here, I'll come back and get your medicine."

When he went in earlier, Phoenix and Cyclops's battle clearly hadn't just started. Their sweaty appearance suggested they had been fighting for a while. He estimated it would be over in half an hour at most, maybe even less.

"Won't that delay your cultivation?"

Wanda showed a hint of worry.

She knew that this afternoon was Hawking's dedicated cultivation time.

"It's fine. Is cultivation more important than you?"

Hawking patted Wanda's head.

The fundamental purpose of his cultivation and becoming stronger was, firstly, for self-preservation, and secondly, to protect his family and friends.

Therefore, for him, using his usual cultivation time to care for an unwell Wanda was naturally a very normal thing.

Otherwise, it would be putting the cart before the horse.

"This... is this a confession to me!"

Hearing Hawking's words, Wanda's heart immediately blossomed with joy.

In her eyes, cultivation was the most important thing to Hawking; he spent almost all his time cultivating every day.

But now Hawking was saying she was more important than cultivation. Good heavens, wasn't this a disguised confession?

"Mhm."

Wanda lowered her head and agreed to Hawking's suggestion.

"Why is your face so red? I haven't heard that time of the month causes facial redness. She's probably embarrassed because of it."

Hawking easily picked up Wanda. On the way to the dorm, he noticed her flushed face and secretly came to a conclusion.

So he smiled and comforted her:

"There's nothing to be shy about. It's a very normal physiological phenomenon. But don't always rely on painkillers.

Taking too many painkillers isn't good for your body. Next time, I'll take you to Chinatown to buy some brown sugar ginger water. Drinking that can relieve some of the discomfort."

At this point, he suddenly sighed inwardly.

"It seems I still need to find time to learn Medical Ninjutsu and delve into healing magic."

He had multiple bloodline enhancements and Nine-Tailed Chakra for rapid recovery from injuries, so he had never paid much attention to Medical Ninjutsu and healing magic, always feeling he wouldn't need them.

But now that he thought about it, while he might not need them, that didn't mean his family and friends wouldn't.

He couldn't just use the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique for everything, could he?

The Reincarnation Rebirth technique could revive life, but the cost was not small. If he were to kill someone just to heal their injuries and then revive them with the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, that would be too wasteful.

If he could learn the Ninja World's Medical Ninjutsu, combined with the Wizarding World's healing magic, then with their cooperation, most injuries should not be a big problem.

Coincidentally, he had also found many healing-related magic spells in Lord Voldemort's memories.

Lord Voldemort, that fellow, didn't just research Dark Arts; he also extensively researched life-saving healing magic, even developing magic that could revive himself.

Even Dumbledore and Grindelwald hadn't achieved this.

"Okay."

The normally chatty Wanda suddenly seemed like a different person, burying her head in Hawking's chest and softly replying with just one word.

Hawking didn't pay too much attention, simply attributing it to a young girl's shyness.

Arriving at Wanda's room, he helped her take off her coat, gently placed her on the bed, and covered her with a blanket.

"You rest first. I'll go get your medicine in a little while."

As he spoke, he used his aura to heat his right hand, then reached into the blanket.

Wanda saw this and quickly grabbed Hawking's wrist, a pitiful look on her face:

"Not... not these few days."

"It's precisely these few days that it will be effective; you don't need to do this normally."

Hawking removed Wanda's hand and, while she looked utterly bewildered, he reached into the blanket and began to rub her stomach.

"Does that feel a bit better? I'll rub it for you. Just close your eyes and rest. If you're sleepy, go to sleep. When you wake up, I'll have brought the medicine back for you."

"It's not... not as painful."

Realizing she had misunderstood, Wanda awkwardly pulled the blanket up higher, covering half her face and leaving only her eyes exposed.

And so, as he rubbed, Hawking noticed Wanda slowly closing her eyes.

"Sleeping with your head covered isn't good for your brain."

Seeing that Wanda's stomach wasn't hurting as much and she seemed to have fallen asleep, Hawking also withdrew his hand and pulled the blanket down, revealing her delicate little face.

"She's truly getting more and more beautiful."

Looking closely at the sleeping Wanda from up close, Hawking suddenly found that this girl, who helped him cultivate every night, looked exceptionally beautiful today.

Fair skin, long eyelashes, a perky nose, and rosy lips.

"Rosy lips."

He wasn't sure if it was because of the scene in the medical room earlier today, but it seemed to have ignited the long-suppressed hormones within Hawking.

He was involuntarily drawn to those red lips, slowly leaning down and bringing his own lips closer.

At this moment, Wanda's two small hands under the blanket also nervously gripped the bedsheet below.

However, although her heart was pounding with excitement, on the surface, she still forcefully maintained the appearance of being fast asleep, without the slightest movement.

Normally, with Wanda's heart rate, Hawking would have probably noticed long ago, but Hawking wasn't in a normal state either right now.
