Charlie returned to his room and gently closed the door.
He opened the undetectable extension trunk and went down the ladder.
After Dumbledore's second modification, this was no longer the simple space it once was.
The entire trunk's volume had expanded several times.
At Charlie's strong request, it was divided into four areas: plains, forests, hills, and snow mountains.
Each area had its own unique characteristics.
The plains were suitable for running, the forests were deep and mysterious, the hills were undulating, and the snow mountains were perennially covered in snow, serving as a natural refrigerator.
Norbert's food was stored in the snow mountains.
As Charlie entered the trunk, a huge figure rushed over from the hills.
It was Norbert.
This Norwegian Ridgeback was now almost as large as Hagrid's Hut.
Its black scales gleamed in the sunlight, and its charge had the imposing presence of a Dragon.
But the moment it saw Charlie, all its majesty vanished.
Norbert stopped in front of Charlie, its huge Dragon head lowered, its eyes full of fawning.
Its tail was still wagging on the ground.
One can imagine how much psychological trauma Charlie had inflicted upon it.
"You do your thing, don't mind me."
Charlie said casually, then walked towards the forest area.
Storm was over there; during the summer holidays, Storm would definitely be needed to send letters.
So it was necessary for it to get used to the environment outside.
Norbert became excited, flapped its wings, and flew towards the snow mountains.
It dug for a while in a corner of the snow mountains and soon flew back with a large piece of frozen meat in its mouth.
This was meat Hagrid had stored for it, kept fresh in the snow mountains.
Norbert placed the raw meat at the entrance of its nest, then opened its mouth and spewed a ball of orange-red flame.
The flame enveloped the meat, making a sizzling sound.
Not long after, Charlie returned, having found Storm.
Norbert stopped breathing fire and pushed the roasted meat towards Charlie with its claws.
Then it looked at him eagerly, waiting for praise.
Charlie looked at the indescribable black charcoal in front of him, his mouth twitching.
"Thanks, I'm not hungry."
Charlie declined Norbert's kind offer.
Norbert was stunned for a moment, thinking Charlie really wasn't hungry, so it started eating by itself.
Its huge teeth crunched loudly, and bits of black charcoal fell all over the ground.
Judy poked his head out of the cave, saw this scene, and showed a disgusted expression.
What kind of stuff was this to eat?
Charlie climbed out of the trunk with Storm.
Storm had an impression of this place, having lived here for a month before school started.
So it flew to the windowsill and stood there, its gaze deep as it looked out the window.
Without it, he wondered if the little female Owls in the Owlery would be lonely... Anyone who frequently attends school knows that during holidays at home, you only get to enjoy being waited on hand and foot for the first three days.
If you stay at home for more than a week, your parents will start to show all sorts of disdain.
If you stay at home, they say you're going to mold from being cooped up; if you go out, they say you're never home; if you don't work, they say you're going to act like an old man; if you work, they say you're clumsy.
