Nidoking let out an angry roar as a surge of earth-yellow energy erupted from its body. The ground churned, and clumps of soil gathered in front of it, forming a dense mass of energy before shooting toward Beedrill in the sky.

Aaron's expression remained calm as he gave the command.

Beedrill let out a low hum as a pink glow enveloped its body. With a burst of speed, it swiftly dodged Nidoking's Earth Power.
"Tch..."
Juston clicked his tongue and continued issuing commands.
"Nidoking. Use Rock Tomb!"
"Restrict its movement..."
"GRRRAAAH!"
Nidoking growled as chunks of solid rock burst from the ground and shot into the air.
One after another, the rocks blocked Beedrill's flight path, sealing off its movement and slowing it down.
"Beedrill. Use Flash Step to dodge."
"Then follow up with Twineedle."
A glint flashed in Aaron's eyes.
This Juston might look arrogant, but he knew what he was doing in battle.
But his Beedrill was no ordinary Beedrill.

Beedrill let out a sharp, vibrating buzz.
In the next instant, it vanished.
Then, just as suddenly, it appeared beside Nidoking.
Its twin stingers gleamed with a strange yellow-white light as they stabbed straight into Nidoking's side.
A faint butterfly-shaped mark appeared, glowing with an eerie purple hue.

Nidoking felt a sharp pain in its side.
Before it could react, a wave of intense weakness swept through its entire body.
It felt completely drained, as if all its strength had been sucked away.
A flicker of fear flashed in its eyes.
Then its massive body collapsed.

It crashed heavily into the ground, sending dust and debris flying.

It had lost the ability to battle.

Juston shouted in panic.
In a blink, Beedrill had appeared beside Nidoking at an unbelievable speed and taken it down with just two strikes.

Juston roared in disbelief.
It made no sense.
Nidoking had clearly been in control just moments ago, yet it had suddenly gone down.
Beside him, Rosaline covered her mouth, her eyes filled with shock.
The surrounding crowd fell silent.
Then came a wave of sharp inhales.

"Is that really the speed a Beedrill should have!?"
"Are the books wrong!? Did Beedrill's stats reach 200 or something!?"
"And its attack too. Otherwise how could it one-shot a peak Nidoking with just Twineedle!?"
"That makes sense... so Beedrill is actually this strong!?"
Many students stared at the Beedrill in the air with shining eyes.
At that moment, it looked incredibly cool.

A flash of light appeared.
A red, upright turtle-like Pokémon with a spiked shell emerged on the field.
It was a rare Dragon and Fire-type Pokémon.
