Kairon and Varikh clenched their fists.
"How dare you?" Kairon barked.
The student didn't register it.
Coin narrowed his eyes.
"I didn't accept your proposal completely, Leon Bronzers. I want to know why you want to hunt Zane Atlas? What do you want from this?"
At the Emberlord's words, Leon's thin smile came back and he sat on the chair again.
"The moment he awakened three Gleam tier skills, I was about to kill him. The simple thought of him breathing in the same room as me punctured my heart. His kind is toys for us. Shoes. Slippers. I like shoes but I won't put them in my head. He survived that day. And he survived today as well. But not anymore."
