Well, it's not like it was completely impossible, it's just that with Vincent's current strength, he can't make the first step.
He was simply too weak to proceed further in his plan.
But this didn't make him desperate. At least not yet.
Vincent still has around half a year left to find a solution.
"Vincent~"
Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice.
Looking down from the tree, Vincent saw a gorgeous girl with long silver hair holding a basket with freshly baked pastries.
She waved at him with a deep smile, "Go down, my love. Let's eat together."
He hesitated for a moment before jumping down.
With a *thud* he landed right beside her.
The smell of the bakery became even more alluring.
Mireth placed a blanket on the grass and sat down, beginning to take out what she spent hours cooking.
Vincent also sat beside her.
"Here~" she said happily and passed him a warm bun with some fruit jelly inside.
Seeing his calm face as he slowly ate her food, her heart was filled with joy.
The two of them became much closer in those months he spent here.
Vincent didn't tell her about his condition that will kill him in half a year and instead said that he wants to live here for a year to deepen his understanding of elvish culture.
Naturally it was a lie, but Mireth, who was still expecting her pregnancy, was overjoyed with love knowing that her man decided to stay with her.
She used this precious time to come closer to him through food or… night intimacy.
Though Vincent didn't stay at her home at night every day, occasionally, he still went to sleep there or she might start to have some unnecessary thoughts.
Of course, Mireth used those rare moments fully to her advantage.
Those nights were filled with moans and extreme pleasure. While in the morning she was barely able to move her lower body.
It was way too exhausting after a full night of intense love sharing.
At least this was what she thought.
*Crunch*
As Vincent ate, he briefly gazed at her while she wasn't looking.
'It's becoming harder with each day.'
Vincent had recently begun to struggle internally.
Mireth's advances and attitude… began to affect his emotional state as Alisia's image slowly, but gradually began to weaken in his mind.
Vincent still didn't betray her, but if this continues…
He might truly develop feelings towards this elvish girl which he couldn't allow.
He was scared about what might happen to Alisia in his heart if this truly happens.
But he can't just push Mireth aside.
He needs to be very careful in this matter.
Mireth slowly licked her fingers as she observed Vincent with her side vision.
She abruptly started slightly shaking inside. Her heartbeat became faster.
Mireth intensely looked at his side profile with her beautiful eyes.
'Today… it should be today…'
She recalled their last intimate night that was around a week ago.
Mireth wants it again and wants it badly.
She wants her soft, fragile body to be dominated, ravaged by this man so much that she can barely hold herself from jumping on him right now.
Thinking about his huge thing rampaging inside her lower body and her mouth…
Mireth's heart shook and she finally asked under deep breaths.
"My love, are you… going to sleep with me… tonight?"
Hearing her sudden question, Vincent froze.
He turned to look at her.
Vincent could see complete obsession in her deep eyes as she stared at him.
Mireth wasn't even trying to hide her intentions anymore.
Vincent had long ago noticed that something was wrong with her, but he can't put a finger on what exactly.
He was hesitant to answer. After all, except for actual penetration, he was doing all other intimate acts with her.
And it became very hard to hold back recently.
"If nothing serious happens… I will."
Mireth's heart skipped a beat.
This is what she wanted to hear.
After the two of them finished eating, Mireth didn't take more of his time and went home to wait while Vincent continued meditation in an attempt to find a solution about his problem as well as on how he should approach Mireth feelings without betraying Alisia.
…
Entering home, Mireth was in high spirits. She anticipated a lot of passion tonight.
Suddenly, entering the kitchen she saw someone sitting at the table.
It was her older sister.
Mireth slightly nodded to her. She needs to wash dishes and prepare herself for the upcoming night activity.
"Are you sure that your decision was correct?"
Mireth froze when she heard her sister's question.
"I was never so sure in my life. The blood doesn't lie," Mireth calmly replied.
"I understand its significance, but making such a huge decision just because of it, is way too rushed, don't you think so?"
Mireth became somewhat irritated, "I'm very happy right now and will never regret my choice. My spiritual call arrived right when we were alone together. Fate brought us together. Everything is as it should be."
Mireth then added with a somewhat cold voice, "I understand your concerns and greatly appreciate it, but… please, enough. Let me enjoy my happiness."
"I understand that you're jealous that I've managed to find my destined man faster than you, but stop it. Go and find someone for yourself and stop bothering us."
"By the way, my love will soon come so please, leave. We need some time together. I don't want you or anyone else to hear how he will be deepening our bond," Mireth's voice was calm, but a hint of displeasure could be heard in it.
Her sister looked at Mireth a bit and took a deep breath before standing up and leaving.
But before she left, she said, "Don't trust everything he says."
Mireth stopped.
Her body slightly trembled and then oddly chuckled.
'So this is what you're trying to do… hehe.
'You… you want to plant discord between us so that you can use this opportunity and take him away from me, right?'
'Hehe, you think I wouldn't notice how you looked at him when he saved us from those animals!? You think I forgot that?'
Mireth then suddenly calmed down and her eyes began to glow faintly.
Her fist clenched tightly.
Mireth's emotional state was in a dangerous condition.
Recently, when she and Vincent walked together through the elvish community, she was carefully observing every female elf that was passing by them.
Her heart was racing as she noticed how some of them gave an odd glance at Vincent.
But he is her man! Her love!
She was way too blinded by her obsession with Vincent that she wasn't noticing how much she changed recently or… simply refusing to do so.
From morning till night, all her thoughts were about Vincent.
Mireth wants to be beside him all the time.
To see his face.
Hear his voice.
Feel his body…
This emotion became much stronger the more time she spent with him.
Her gorgeous face distorted by inner rage that someone even dared to think about her fated man, her love.
'HE BELONGS TO ME… ONLY TO ME!!'
…
After leaving the house, Mireth's sister had a complicated expression.
'Mireth changed way too much after he was brought here. If this continues, something bad will happen to her.'
The gentle and smiling younger sister that she knew was gone. Now she has become cold and easily irritated, especially after mentioning Vincent.
She made a decision.
'I will always be grateful for what you did for us, but you need to go for her sake.'
She wanted her old sister back, but as long as he stays here, it looks like it is impossible.
Whatever she needs to do to make him leave Mireth, she'll do it.
Even if she has to seduce him to show her that he's not the one she needed.
Though she finds this idea utterly repulsive this might be the only choice left.
