Chapter 32 - At Least It's Easy

Reis expected a bullet train experience. One without the walls and windows keeping the passengers safe from the air pressure.

One moment, he was in the old kitchen of his new home, the next, he was feeling the cold air of early winter, which he shouldn't have, if this was the actual destination.

"Why did you bring us here?" Reis knew very well that his guardian was at least seventy percent made of ice. And he also had gotten somewhat used to the cold, but he could only endure the freezing air for so many days a week. The quota had been met, but his warm robes had been forgotten in the kitchen.
