Ephron had never felt so angry in his life.
Just days ago, they were happy. Ivor would smile at him. Blush when he praised her. Invite him for tea. Talk about anything and everything while hiding from the gaze. They have been together since childhood!
But then that guy appeared. With his pretty face and ugly heart; stealing away the love of his life with nothing but a smile.
He loathed the man! How dare he!
So he stood in the training grounds, sword in hand, waiting for the villain to arrive.
He wasn't the only one, though. Many were waiting, even the heroine was there.
But each had a difficult reason for being there.
Some wanted to see a fight. Although it was within the academy rules to fight if proper procedures were followed, there weren't many instances of sudden battles.
This group consisted of people who weren't in the loop and hadn't seen the new teacher yet. If they had, they'd be here with placards.
