"Why didn't you inform me of this immediately?"
Aldric didn't even wait for a greeting, throwing the question the moment Reis stepped inside the room. Even Ceron was shocked by it. He knew that the king had been in a bad mood for the past few days. Days he spent trying to get in contact with the third prince, but couldn't.
How could a king not get in contact with his own child? He could have barged into the palace, and no one would have stopped him. Yet, he couldn't.
"How kind of you to ask about my health, Your Majesty," Reis was on cue.
Aldric was unfazed by the obvious jab. "Answer me, Ioannis."
Reis walked into the office, Ceron and Yvaion right behind him. "I have already informed everything there is. Did I miss something?"
He included every necessary document and info along with his letter. If there was something missing, it simply wasn't meant to be there.
