Chapter 120 - CHAPTER HUNDRED AND TWENTY

I looked at Silas. I expected him to take the deal. I expected him to grab his people and run for the border. But Silas didn't move. He started to laugh, and it was a cold, sharp sound.

 

"You think you're in a position to give me a choice?" Silas asked.

 

"I am the Alpha," I said.

 

"You're a ghost," Silas said. He kicked one of the tins of meat toward the steps. "We aren't leaving, Urdon. We like this house. We like this land. And Viktor told us that if we take it, it belongs to us. We don't need to go to his camp when we can just make this one better."

 

"You are challenging me for the house?" I asked.

 

"I'm not challenging you for anything," Silas said. He looked at the sun, which was starting to dip below the trees. "I'm telling you how it is. We aren't going anywhere."

 

"Get out of my house, Silas," I said.

 

"It's not your house anymore," Silas said.
