Julian knew he couldn't. He closed his eyes and let the tears roll down. Not tears of pain or sadness, but an overwhelming feeling filled him.
"Are you scared?" Alaric asked, but Julian could not respond.
For a heartbeat, he stayed silent and then opened his eyes to watch the concerned gaze of his lover.
"I have… never done this before," Julian admitted. "Not with a woman and not with a man either. So I don't know. Is… is it supposed to feel this good at the start?"
Alaric heard this and felt a little sense of relief wash over him.
"It feels so good, I don't know what to do. It's scary." He brought his hands over his face and covered his eyes. "I probably seem like a novice to you, given you've had experience before, even if it was with a woman."
