Chapter 226 - Chapter 226: Limited Tsukuyomi, Activate!

Back in Amegakure, everything was finally ready.

Everyone had gathered at the training ground outside the village.

Even though he had already explained it once, Orochimaru continued acting as the resident nerd commentator, explaining the mechanics of the Limited Tsukuyomi yet again.

Limited Tsukuyomi is a downgraded version of the Infinite Tsukuyomi, not an upgraded version of regular Tsukuyomi.

The absolute biggest difference lies in the utter lack of controllability over the Illusionary World.

Whether it's Uchiha Itachi or Uchiha Hikari, they have god-like absolute control over anything they create within the standard Tsukuyomi Illusionary World.

It is precisely because of this total control that Hikari could transform Tsukuyomi into a literal "Mental Illness Treatment Technique" to help Tsunade overcome her hemophobia.

Hikari can freely control everything about the characters in that illusion.

For example, in their previous experiment of "Turning Illusion into Reality," when Kakashi took out a piece of Rin's cells, Hikari could have completely controlled Rin's illusion to just turn around, counter Kakashi, and stab his ass with a Lightning Blade.

She could have even made Rin transform into a second Sage of Six Paths and start pelting Kakashi with Truth-Seeking Balls!

Don't ask if the real Rin could actually do that—this is the Illusionary World.

If you want it, it happens.

But Limited Tsukuyomi is a whole different beast.

In the world of Limited Tsukuyomi, the caster has absolutely zero control over anything that happens from start to finish.

The only things they can do are to hit the 'start' and 'stop' buttons, and decide who gets the VIP pass to enter.

If there happens to be a Hashirama Senju existing in the Illusionary World, unless the Limited Tsukuyomi's random settings miraculously make him a complete weakling, defeating Hashirama would require the exact same ridiculous amount of strength as defeating the real Hashirama.

Therefore, those entering the Limited Tsukuyomi World must have sufficient strength; otherwise, they will just be dead weight.

Moreover, the world of Limited Tsukuyomi is way more complete than anyone imagined.

If characters who originally exist in the real ninja world enter it, it might trigger some crazy butterfly effects, such as the random death or corruption of characters who are supposed to exist.

Thus, it was finally decided that only Makoto and Uchiha Hikari would physically enter the Limited Tsukuyomi World.

The rest of the crew would stay behind to perform [Spectating] and [Communication] support.

The first effect of [Spectating] is basically similar to when ordinary Tsukuyomi was used before.

It allows the crowds to view Makoto and Uchiha Hikari's actions from a top-down, God's-eye perspective.

However, this effect isn't even the key point.

The second effect is that spectators can literally switch their perspective to their own counterpart's viewpoint within the Limited Tsukuyomi World, perfectly synchronizing their perception.

Although they cannot control their alternate selves, it's a massive cheat code for gathering intelligence.

For instance, right after activation, Fuu could directly jump into her own alternate POV to see exactly where she was spawned, then transmit those coordinates back to Makoto and Hikari, significantly reducing unnecessary search time.

Beyond all that, the final, most crucial point was determining whose consciousness would serve as the core foundation for this Limited Tsukuyomi.

The Infinite Tsukuyomi created worlds based on each individual's inner desires, while this Limited Tsukuyomi required manual selection and could accommodate multiple people.

However, if multiple individuals were chosen, the Limited Tsukuyomi World might autonomously try to balance and aggressively modify the world's development.

Too many cores would be a glitchy nightmare, but too few could also cause the whole thing to crash.

Since the core objective of this specific Limited Tsukuyomi run was to safely collect Tailed Beasts, their presence was absolutely essential.

Uchiha Hikari selected three individuals as the cores: Fuu, Yugito, and herself.

As Jinchuriki, Fuu and Yugito naturally had profound impressions of the Tailed Beasts and possessed a solid understanding of their power, ensuring no weird mutated issues would arise from the Tailed Beasts' appearance.

Relying solely on Fuu ran the heavy risk of creating some "Friendship Edition My Little Pony" Limited Tsukuyomi, so the relatively rational and sane Yugito was added to balance out the vibes.

As for how Yugito could serve as a core anchor for the Limited Tsukuyomi? There was no cause for concern.

Hikari's Eight Thousand Spears transmission basically was an unlimited Wi-Fi range and that sketchy mark she had left on Yugito earlier was precisely planted for this exact day.

Finally, including Hikari herself was necessary for imposing ultimate restrictions—basically acting as the admin to prevent the world's logic from completely derailing.

Both Fuu and Yugito, as core figures, could naturally appear as observers, but without Hikari's direct consent, they still couldn't physically enter the Limited Tsukuyomi World.

Fuu was irrelevant in this regard since she was already standing right there and was about to observe as a spectator anyway.

The main concern was Yugito's side of things.

No one here had a damn clue what Yugito was currently doing, but it didn't really matter.

Even if she was in the middle of taking a shit in the restroom without time to wipe her ass, they'd just have to apologize later.

Nagato directly summoned the Gedo Statue—basically acting as a giant, terrifying 5G router to facilitate nearby chakra transmission and reduce latency.

Kurama Yakumo timidly sat at the front, while Uchiha Hikari, tightly gripping the strange stone, manifested her Mangekyo Sharingan and pressed a hand firmly against Yakumo's left shoulder.

On the other side, Tsunade—also holding a piece of the stone—had rainbow-hued chakra patterns spreading all across her body as she placed her hand on Yakumo's right shoulder.

Even though Yakumo's physical condition had finally recovered to normal levels, Tsunade was acting as a massive "healing spring" just in case, ensuring absolutely zero accidents occurred.

Lastly, Makoto, having literally nowhere else to put his hands, simply placed his hand awkwardly over Hikari's.

"Limited Tsukuyomi, activate!"

...

Simultaneously, Yugito and Samui were meeting up right at the border of Amegakure.

The diplomatic efforts between the Hidden Stone and the Hidden Sand had proceeded incredibly smoothly, concluding their alliance without a single obstacle.

Following their agreement, the two women were now heading to Amegakure together.

"Huh?"

Yugito suddenly raised her hand and saw the Eight Thousand Spears Mark glowing brightly.

She immediately sensed massive trouble.

"Yugito, what's wrong?" Samui's typically aloof, ice-queen expression instantly shifted to one of sheer urgency.

"Don't come any closer, I..."

Yugito didn't understand what was happening, but it felt incredibly dangerous.

Before she could even finish her warning sentence, Samui stepped forward and grabbed her hand—the exact hand bearing the glowing mark.

Bzzzt.

The very next second, their surroundings underwent a violent, dramatic transformation.

Originally standing in a sunlit forest, they were suddenly yanked into a pitch-black night sky.

"Huh? Why the hell are there two of them? Well, whatever." A voice suddenly echoed right in their ears.

"Who's there?!"

"Who is it?!"

Yugito and Samui looked around in absolute panic.

"Don't panic, it's me—no, wait, I mean Makoto sent me to ask for your help... mainly the Two-Tails Jinchuriki," Hikari quickly corrected herself mid-sentence, desperately trying to avoid forming any disgusting 'bonds'.

"What kind of help?! Where the hell is this place?!"

"Why did we suddenly appear here? Is this some kind of Space-Time Ninjutsu?!"

"This is my Limited Tsukuyomi, imitating the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Its purpose is naturally to save the ninja world," Hikari said, feeling slightly guilty when she mentioned the whole "saving the ninja world" part.

After all, her true goal was to completely obliterate the current gay ninja world established by Uchiha Madara and Hashirama Senju, and create a brand-new one where heterosexual reign supreme!

"You guys probably didn't fully believe what we told you before, right? Then experience it properly for yourselves this time."

"Just remember, no matter what crazy shit you see, don't get agitated. You only have the right to watch; you literally can't change anything."

After dropping that ominous last sentence, Hikari paid absolutely no further attention to them.
