The small toad opened its mouth incredibly wide, and [Namikaze Minato] awkwardly crawled out from inside like he was being birthed.
Then, the small toad disappeared with a poof, returning to Mount Myōboku.
[Kushina] didn't come out; she was taken straight to Mount Myōboku to hide.
After all, [Kushina] had just been severely injured by [Konan]'s explosive paper Pegasus.
Although she had recovered slightly thanks to the Nine-Tails' leaking chakra, she still had absolutely zero combat ability.
Moreover, for the Flying Thunder God, the fewer people being carried, the faster and more convenient the teleportation.
"Menma, are you okay?!"
After [Namikaze Minato] fully extracted himself from the toad, the very first thing he did was step forward to anxiously check on Uzumaki Menma.
"Sigh... this right here might be the biggest difference between the two Namikaze Minato's," Makoto shook his head and sighed from above.
The Namikaze Minato from this Limited Tsukuyomi World not only lacked conviction and completely abandoned the village just to live a peaceful life... but because he only wanted a peaceful life, he had never participated in the hardcore, blood-soaked battles of the ninja world wars.
He had never carried out any high-difficulty, life-or-death missions.
This cowardly lifestyle resulted in his combat experience and battle perception being absolute garbage.
Even though his raw Flying Thunder God talent remained exactly the same as the real Minato's, his actual execution was far inferior.
The Flying Thunder God is a spatial teleportation jutsu that happens in the literal blink of an eye; it requires both the brain and the body's reflexes to perfectly sync up.
If the real Namikaze Minato were standing here, facing down an overwhelmingly strong enemy where retreat was the only option, his approach would have been instantaneous: appear, immediately grab Uzumaki Menma, and FTG the hell out of there, giving Makoto and the others absolutely zero chance to react.
And this guy?
The very first thing he did after spawning in a hostile warzone was actually pause to ask Uzumaki Menma, "Are you okay?"
Of course, based on the future fragments Makoto had just seen through his [Epitaph], [Namikaze Minato] did eventually plan to take Menma away and had no intention of fighting them head-on.
But this fatal hesitation was simply a manifestation of his pathetic lack of combat experience.
'So.'
'Sorry about this.'
'Die, Namikaze Minato!'
"Menma, are you okay—URGH!"
[Namikaze Minato] had barely finished his stupid question.
His hand hadn't even reached Uzumaki Menma's shoulder yet he was suddenly sent flying violently backward, crashing heavily into the temple's massive bronze bell.
In that split second, [Namikaze Minato]'s chest had been brutally pierced straight through, leaving a massive bloody hole torn open in his torso.
With an injury like that, there was absolutely no saving him.
"Why..."
[Namikaze Minato] weakly raised a trembling hand, looking at his son Uzumaki Menma in the distance, who was staring at him in utter shock.
Why?
He just wanted to live a peaceful life with his furry passions!
[Namikaze Minato]'s consciousness began to rapidly fade, his life flashing before his eyes.
But then, almost as if the hardcore combat instincts of the other world's Minato had briefly possessed him, his fading consciousness suddenly accelerated into overdrive.
"The final... Rasengan..."
[Namikaze Minato] suddenly struggled to his feet, using every last agonizing ounce of his strength to unleash a Rasengan that violently shattered the massive temple bell right behind him.
Then, he collapsed to the floor, completely lifeless.
Uzumaki Menma's pupils contracted in horror at the sight, while massive confusion bubbled up within him.
Why the hell had his father just attacked the random bell behind him at the very end?!
"?"
Watching this incredibly dramatic scene play out, Makoto slowly typed a giant question mark in his own mind.
Seriously, did he have to be so damn cryptic?!
You had enough breath to dramatically whisper "why," and you had enough breath to yell "the final Rasengan," yet you couldn't just use those three seconds to actually tell your son what you just figured out?!
And Menma wasn't any better!
His old man was standing right next to him, got instantly turned into a human donut, and was sent flying across the room by Makoto—yet Menma didn't even consider for a single second that he might also be within Makoto's attack range!
He just stood there completely motionless like an NPC!
Well, they still needed to extract the Nine-Tails' chakra, so the kid couldn't die just yet.
"Unforgivable!" Uzumaki Menma clenched his fists in absolute rage as massive waves of golden Nine-Tails chakra violently erupting around him.
"Just let me handle this." Hikari stepped forward, her eyes spinning as she activated her Skeletal Susanoo.
....
"You're no longer the wild demon fox! You are Konoha's Uzumaki Menma's... WIFE, KURAMA!"
"Let's go, Kurama!"
"Ohhhh~!"
Amid the passionate, borderline-romantic shouts of human and beast, a massive golden fox violently burst through the temple's main building, roaring passionately at the night sky.
"Ugh—"
Hikari physically stumbled, nearly losing her balance and face-planting upon hearing this absolute auditory nightmare.
"Damn, Kurama Mode... wait, so you really did link up with Kurama, huh?" Makoto hadn't expected Menma to just drop all pretenses and openly scream such unimaginably cringeworthy lines.
It wasn't just Makoto and Hikari who were suffering a mental breakdown down below.
The spectators up in the real world were completely losing their goddamn minds.
When all the previous bizarre furry incidents occurred, everyone had managed to remain mostly silent in shock.
But this time... this was truly too outrageous.
It was to the point of making people rip their own hair out in disbelief.
"This isn't real... Right, this was never real to begin with. This is an illusion. Just an illusion..." Kushina desperately clutched her head, rocking back and forth and muttering to herself like a broken woman.
The others wished they could just violently deafen themselves right then and there.
When Menma first shouted that line, it sounded like a passionate shonen power-up, but upon actually processing the content of the words, everyone's brains short-circuited.
It felt like their ears had been assaulted.
Of course, the most broken entity of all was the Yin Kurama currently residing within the real Kushina.
In the past, there was a long history of Jinchuriki emotionally breaking down and having their bodies taken over by their Tailed Beasts.
Today marked the very first precedent in ninja history of a Tailed Beast having a literal emotional breakdown!
Hearing Uzumaki Menma's horrifying romantic lines, Yin Kurama frantically started screaming inside Kushina's mind, desperately offering her absolutely all of its power just so she could go down there and violently murder those two bastards.
If they hadn't still been in the "spectator" phase, Yin Kurama probably would have begged Kushina to activate Baryon Mode and nuke the entire temple from orbit.
Fortunately, though mentally collapsing, Kushina maintained a sliver of rationality and firmly refused Yin Kurama's murder-suicide proposal.
"Don't you dare mock Kurama! The Kurama who became my wife is the purest girl in the world!" Uzumaki Menma furiously shouted from within the massive golden Nine-Tails avatar.
"Disgusting."
Uchiha Hikari literally finished dry-heaving, wiped the corner of her mouth with a tissue, took a few shallow breaths to steady her violently churning stomach and then glared up with absolute murderous intent.
Her Skeletal Susanoo instantly exploded outward, expanding into its towering Complete Form.
"Uchiha?!" Menma sneered. "It's useless! I am now complete! The Sharingan can no longer take Kurama away from me!"
Uzumaki Menma controlled the massive golden Nine-Tails to press its palms together.
In an instant, the towering Divine Tree behind the Fire Temple suddenly violently uprooted itself, growing wildly until it transformed into two massive Thousand-Armed Giant Buddhas.
Floating faintly before the giant Buddhas, two ethereal figures could be vaguely seen.
"Has he truly obtained Asura's power through the 'Transmigration Bond'?" Makoto asked, standing safely in the "Susanoo cockpit" beside Uchiha Hikari, observing the ridiculous scene ahead.
"Correct! I have finally remembered everything! All the past moments and memories between me and Kurama!" Menma screamed over the chaos.
"In my previous life, my predecessor, Asura, fell madly in love with Kurama! But he was cucked and hypnotized by his elder brother, Indra, who used the Sharingan to steal Kurama away!"
"When Asura witnessed Kurama's having sex with Indra, he believed Kurama had betrayed their sacred relationship! Heartbroken, he even spoke cruel, unforgivable words to Kurama... calling her a bitch fox!"
"In the next life, Indra's reincarnation, Uchiha Madara, found Kurama earlier and formed a bond with her first, leaving Asura's reincarnation, Hashirama Senju, with nothing but bitter resentment and tragic misunderstanding!"
"But until now..."
"All the tragic misunderstandings between me and Kurama have finally been resolved! I accept her past! I accept everything about her! You cannot break our love that has transcended a thousand years! LOVE IS INFINITE!!!" Uzumaki Menma shouted excitedly, tears of passion in his eyes.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY!!!"
Uchiha Hikari screamed, physically covering her own ears while aggressively driving the Perfect Susanoo forward, cleanly and brutally severing the Golden Nine-Tails' arms off with two massive, furious strikes.
