I find this out the same way I find out most things in this palace — not because someone tells me directly but because I am paying attention and the pieces arrange themselves.
I wake from the second sleep of the day to find Fenris checking my temperature and Ryder standing just inside the door with the expression of a man who has delivered a message and is waiting to see what it sets in motion.
"Who did he send for?" I say to Fenris.
Fenris does not look up from his instruments. "Your temperature is nearly normal," he says. "That is encouraging."

He sighs the sigh of a man who has learned that I do not let things go. "Lady Rossana has been asked to come to the main receiving room. The Crown Prince requested it this morning after—" he stops. Chooses his words. "After several conversations."
