AKAME ASSASINATION (14)
The fundamentals of alchemy require basic transmutation via the use of transmutation circles. If you are wondering how they work then here's a brief summary. Basically drawing a bunch of symbols on a circle and adding your own fragment energy transmuting it into something else, this is all you need to know for now.
"So what will you do now little biscuit?" Nina had asked.
This happened just a minutes before Teddy, Angel and Justine came and found her.
"You really are one cocky bitch, you know that?" Jericho smiled despite the pain. "But I also made preparations of my own."
FLOP!
In one forceful tug, Jericho brought Nina close to her. And for a minute nothing happened, that was until something did happen. The floor beneath them began glowing.
"You see, not to brag but I was on top of my alchemy class. So I believe I've got the basics when it comes to transmutation."
She did and she managed to prove it with her intelligent play despite the odds being against her.
'Not everything's about strength.' Akame's words echoed in her mind. "Fucking bastard, I can't even get a moments peace since I met him. But I suppose he was right… things are going to get a lot harder from here on out. I best be ready."
EARTH ALCHEMY: IRON COFFIN!
This technique engulfed the once human zombies in a section of mud she had formed using her F.E. This rendered them useless, meanwhile around both her and Nina a giant sphere trapped them.
"Oh, your so much fun. Maybe I will tell you my plans."
"?"
"We're after Saikyo Akame, not simply because his bounty has been activated but because we were hired to do it."
"Hired, by who?"
"The same man that hired you I would guess."
"!" Nina's nails still dug deep into Jericho's arms, "The chief?"
"Yes, he probably hired a bunch of you as reassurance In case we canceled the contract or something."
"Who is we? Are you looking for him? Where is he?"
"So many questions. I'll be happy to answer, but only one. SO pick wisely."
"Jackass, have you forgotten who's in control here?"
"From my point of view it would seem as though you have trapped yourself…" Nina smiled as her face began to melt.
Her entire body began to come apart as though it were made of vapor.
"No! Your fucking kidding!"
HOLLOW WHITE SOLDIERS: GALLARY FAKE!
Donovan gave his soldiers one simple command, to do whatever Nina asked of them. And Nina had given a simple command to one of the soldiers.
"Look exactly like me." Nina said, "That's all I asked one of them to do and while you were busy preparing your own plan, I swapped out for the fake."
Jericho was becoming infuriated, "Like what the hell!"
"Don't be too angry, I'll be sure to answer one of your questions as promised." Nina's fingers caressed the outer wall of the sphere, "I'll pick the question to answer. Akame Saikyo is currently…"

AT THE AQUATIC BLUE HOSPITAL
8 HOURS LATER
Jericho's eyes slowly opened, they instantly squinted as she stared directly at the white bulb above her.
"Iman, your awake!" Teddy said.
Jericho couldn't see him, maybe the light had done extreme damage to her photoreceptor. She sat up and blinked a couple of times to bring her vision back and she noticed him sitting next to her bed.
"Ted."
"Yeah?"
"How long was I out?"
Teddy looked at the wall clock, "About 7 hours give or take."
"Fuck, 7 hours?" She looked at hospital gown she wore, "Why am I at a hospital?"
"You almost died due to carbon(IV)oxide poisoning, because you didn't put any holes in the sphere. Not to mention you made it extremely small."
"Don't lecture me, I was in a rush. Switching alchemy takes a toll on me, you know that better than anyone."
"Yeah." Teddy leaned on her bed, "Iman."
"?"
"I was scared… that I wouldn't see you again."
Jericho gave him a pat on the head, "You can't get rid of me that easily."
She jumped of the bed and stood, her feet were fine, no broken bones, no fractures, no missing limbs and no damaged tissues.
"Angel restored your healing factor, the enzymes in your tissues that automatically heal you."
She rotated her shoulder, "That's good, I feel great."
She walked to the door, "My clothes?"
"Full of holes and a ton of blood."
"My spares?"
"In my backpack."
After putting on a fresh pair of clothes she cracked her knuckles and walked out of her room with Teddy not that far behind. He followed intently to the counter.
"Just sign here please." The nurse pointed at a blank space next to her name.
Her and Teddy then left the hospital following a red line of tape that secluded them from obstructing the crime scene. She could sense multiple people around just staring at the forensics team. 'Probably other seekers looking for any evidence they could find.'
How naive of them to assume they would stumble upon their big break. Jericho knew this and would have mocked them if she weren't so focused on the task at hand.
They left the station and walked down the steps, in front of them were two familiar faces arguing about something which wasn't new. However, they stopped once they saw Jericho and Teddy.
"Yoo, your still alive?" Justine teased.
"Do you know how much property damage and casualties we've had because of your little stunt?" Angel began lecturing her, "Is that really how…"
"I know where he is." Jericho cut her off mid sentence.
"What?"
"I said I know where our target is." She repeated this time louder.
"Seriously… How though?" Justine was a bit skeptical, "You just happen to come across it?"
"How isn't important."
"There it is." Angel mocked, "Always keeping secrets, how do you expect us to function as a group if…"
"I'm sorry I don't care about you little group act, the both of you said it yourselves. Let's cut the family act, finish this and we can go our separate ways until Germain needs us again. So are you coming or not?"
Justine sized her up, "Can't argue with that logic."
Angel sighed, "Fine, do whatever the fuck you want. I don't know why I even try."
Jericho turned to Teddy, he nodded.
"Good, get the hammer. We've got at the very least 8 hours to get to where we need to go."
The trio agreed this would be their last official assignment together, little do they know that would be more literal than they each thought.
