Outside the Immortal Bastion,
Chen looked at Katarina beside him in shock: "How deeply have you hidden yourself?"
Chen once thought Katarina was just a top-tier assassin, like Talon.
But now he realized he was wrong; Katarina was much stronger than Talon. She had joined Swain's ranks, yet she had managed to infiltrate Swain's forces with many of her own people.
From top to bottom, civil and military officials, all of them were there, and all these people shared one identity—assassins.
Katarina smiled and said, "The old theories of assassins are outdated. I'm not that fellow Talon."
"A true assassin must hide invisibly in the world, in various places. They might hold high office, or they might be your neighbor's kid. You wouldn't suspect them at all, and in the end, the trail would never lead back to you."
Chen cupped his hands and said, "Impressive, truly impressive."
"Alright, I won't see you off too far. Oh, and since you're from Zaun, you probably don't ride horses, so I'll give you this as a farewell gift."
Katarina actually pushed out a motorcycle!
And it was a Harley-Davidson model!
Chen was very familiar with it; he had drawn the blueprints for this bike himself, based on the old Harley-Davidson Iron 1200. It had been mass-produced in Piltover and exported to Noxus.
"Thanks."
Chen got on the motorcycle and looked at the Crow on the city wall from afar: "Be careful of Swain."
Katarina waved her hand and disappeared from Chen's sight: "He wouldn't dare touch me, at least not before he figures out the assassins I've placed. Besides, Swain and I are both the same kind of people; everything we do is for the future of Noxus."
Chen rode the motorcycle at lightning speed, leaving the Immortal Bastion.
Chen carried Powder's Pow-Pow and Fishbones on his back. He actually didn't know where Powder was.
But he did have a magical method. Chen directly waved his hand and opened the system:
"Change Powder's skin to Star Guardian."
With a "clunk," the Fishbones and Pow-Pow on his back transformed into two fluffy spirits, floating beside Chen.
Little White asked anxiously, "Where's my master? You lost my master!"
Chen felt a bit ashamed; his current abilities were indeed somewhat lacking. He clenched his fist: "Yes, I lost her. I'm sorry to her, so now I must save her, right? Can you sense where she is?"
Little Black's tail pointed to the northwest.
Chen didn't hesitate, he accelerated and sped off towards the northwest.
...
A few days later.
Powder had long studied their guards' shift changes, routines, and habits. She had wanted to sneak out for a long time, but there were no firearms or ammunition for her here.
Now, with a flash of inspiration, she mimicked Chen and formulated a battle plan.
Rell kicked open Powder's locked door. The Black Rose guards immediately rushed over:
"Go back!"
But Rell couldn't tolerate these Black Rose fellows at all. Her spear thrust violently, directly piercing through the guard's body.
Powder imitated Chen's tone: "Shift change at two. Fewer people outside. First, rescue the others, then we'll all break out together."
The searchlights on the training ground were still rotating, scanning everything within the academy.
During the shift change, Powder and Rell slipped out. They rushed through a blind spot in the search and safely reached the student dormitories.
To call them dormitories was a polite way of saying they were prisons.
The people inside had only one outcome: to be stripped of their magic and die.
Rell charged forward with her spear, knocking over a guard with one thrust, while simultaneously clenching her right hand.
The armor on another guard suddenly developed red cracks, and the armor contracted inward, crushing the soldier's internal organs. The immense pressure directly killed him.
There were many guards in the dormitory, but all of them were unable to withstand Rell's iron manipulation abilities. The armor that protected them now became their killing weapon, brutally crushing their bodies.
Behind each iron door were imprisoned children. Rell melted all the iron doors without hesitation, releasing them.
But when the children came out and saw Rell, they were in a panic, wondering why it was this person.
"Follow me, let's escape together!"
Rell's tone was very cool as she led the charge.
But by this time, the sounds of the slaughter had alarmed the entire academy, and guards and instructors rushed over.
The guards wore iron armor, which in Rell's eyes was just a corpse. She lifted her hand, clenched it, and the iron armor caved inward.
Powder, mimicking Chen, complained from the side: "No, what is this? You all know Rell can manipulate iron, yet you wear full iron gear and have all iron doors. What kind of brains do you have?"
The instructors were not wearing armor, as they were all mages. They began to chant spells:
"Wind elements that fill the world..."
"Flame spirits, make a pact with me..."
Several spells flew towards Rell, but Rell, of course, wouldn't sit idly by. The ground beneath her feet tore open, and iron armor twisted and swirled in the air, forming a tornado of flying razor blades.
The buildings instantly self-destructed and shattered, forming an impenetrable black armor around Rell, rendering all attacks ineffective.
She charged forward with her spear, which was as heavy as a mountain, crushing everyone who stood in her way.
But just then, she noticed a woman blocking her path.
Rell stopped her charge and looked at the woman in front of her: "Mother?"
Then Rell looked at her mother and noticed a badge hanging on her mother's chest. The badge clearly stated her mother's position:
"Principal."
Rell looked at her mother in disbelief, shaking her head vigorously: "No! You're the principal? You were overseeing all of this?"
Rell's mother looked at Rell seriously, her voice resolute: "All of this is for you, do you understand?"
"For me, what? For me, you killed all these children? Do you know what you're doing?"
"I know. After all... there must be sacrifice before there can be achievement."
...
Rell was speechless. She had never imagined that her mother would also be involved in this disgusting affair.
She was utterly enraged.
But she also couldn't lay a hand on her own mother, so she furiously charged in another direction.
But just then, a woman appeared silently in front of her, and a golden chain bound itself around Rell.
Powder shouted: "Watch out! It's LeBlanc!"
Rell immediately waved her hand, and a mass of iron blocked LeBlanc's Ethereal Chains.
But LeBlanc didn't stop; she instantly transformed into a wisp of smoke, appearing ghost-like behind Rell. LeBlanc stomped her foot, and powerful magical energy vibrated towards Rell's body.
At the same time, the golden hexagonal Sigil of Malice flew from her staff, imprinting through the iron armor onto Rell's skin.
Rell instantly turned, swinging her spear.
But LeBlanc transformed into another phantom, reappearing in her original position.
Mimic, another purple hexagonal Sigil of Malice flew towards Rell. The two marks overlapped, and a massive burst of magical energy instantly exploded on Rell's body.
Rell spat out a mouthful of blood, fell to her knees, gritting her teeth, barely supporting herself with her spear.
Seeing Rell injured, Powder casually picked up a battle-axe and charged forward.
LeBlanc merely smiled at Powder: "I'm reluctant to deal with her, but you're tired of living, aren't you?"
No sooner said than done, just as LeBlanc was about to attack Powder.
"Boom boom boom!"
The sound of a motorcycle tearing through the streets appeared from above. The motorcycle's headlights shone on LeBlanc, as a handsome guy on a motorcycle descended from the sky!
