Hot recommendation:
"Powder, am I handsome? I took him down in just a few moves!"
On the way back to the inn, Chen carried Powder on his back and boasted to her.
But Powder lay weakly, motionless, grumbling:
"I don't know, I wasn't paying attention, I fell asleep. Don't bother me, I want to sleep."
After speaking, Powder closed her eyes and instantly fell asleep.
...
Chen was instantly deflated. Such a cool instant kill, and no one appreciated it.
"Hello, Mr. Chen? I just watched your fight. May I have a word with you?"
A pleasant, bell-like female voice came from behind. Chen was overjoyed; someone did appreciate his handsome instant kill!
Chen turned his head and, upon seeing her, was stunned:
"Lux?"
"You know me?"
The blonde girl pointed at herself, a little curious.
Chen's mind raced:
"Of course! The most outstanding mage of the Crownguard Family..."
He had originally intended to call her a mage directly, but on second thought, he decided not to expose Lux.
But this only piqued Lux's interest, and she asked with an expectant look:
"The most outstanding what?"
...I forgot...
Chen was too lazy to make something up, nor did he want to. Not exposing Lux's identity as a mage on the street was already considerate enough.
...Alright, how about we have dinner sometime? My treat!
Lux revealed her cheerful and sunny smile.
Chen was almost "infected" by her smile. He shook his head:
"My girlfriend is tired; I need to take her back to sleep."
"What a pity. I was going to treat you to a big meal..."
Chen decisively refused, and Lux could only give up.
But at that moment, Powder suddenly woke up from her slumber and joyfully raised her hands:
"Big meal! Eat! Must eat!!!"
Chen awkwardly turned around and shamelessly looked at Lux:
"Um, can we still go...?"
"Of course!"
Lux was very happy.
Lux led Chen and Powder from the outer city into the inner city. They had arrived very late before and hadn't gone out, so they hadn't had a good look at the scenery of Demacia. This was a good opportunity to see it along the way.
Seeing Chen and Powder curiously looking around, Lux took the initiative to introduce them:
"Demacia is a powerful kingdom where the rule of law reigns supreme, renowned for its illustrious military achievements and long-standing reputation. Demacians have always revered justice, honor, and duty, and are almost fanatically proud of their traditions and heritage!"
But Chen quietly whispered to Powder, who was leaning against his head:
"However, despite adhering to these so-called noble principles, over the past few centuries, the arrogant Demacia has become increasingly isolated, a synonym for isolationism. It's purely a bit much; the Qing Dynasty has already shown us the consequences of closing off the country."
Powder understood. Although she didn't know what the Qing Dynasty was, it didn't matter; Chen was often like this.
Lux's expression subtly shifted. She pretended not to hear Chen's comments about Demacia and continued her role as a tour guide:
"Demacia is built on Petricite, a white rock that suppresses magical energy. It was established after the Rune Wars as a sanctuary for those fleeing magical harm. With Demacia as its core, it protects distant towns, farmlands, forests, and mountains rich in minerals."
Then Chen again quietly whispered to Powder, undercutting Lux:
"However, ever since King Jiawen III's sudden death, the various great families have yet to agree to the succession of his only heir, Prince Jarvan IV."
But to his surprise, Lux dropped her act. Her sweet smile vanished, and she said to Chen with a hint of displeasure:
"Aren't you from Zaun? How do you know all the political inner workings of our Demacia? I now have reason to suspect you're a spy sent by Noxus!"
Chen looked down at the Black Cleaver tucked at his waist. What Lux said seemed to be true in a sense.
He was indeed the next Noxus Hand.
But Chen certainly wouldn't admit it. He directly told Lux:
"If I speak the truth, does that make me a Noxus spy?"
Lux fell silent. She knew that every word Chen said was true, except for the part about the Qing Dynasty, which she didn't understand.
Lux sighed:
"I apologize; I was presumptuous. I am deeply sorry."
"It's alright, you're still treating us to dinner!"
Chen was shameless anyway. If Powder wanted to eat, he'd take her to eat, no matter what.
So, Lux could only continue leading Chen towards the heart of Demacia.
Chen and Powder continued to admire the surrounding scenery. Demacia had an absolutely European architectural style, with white as the main color, and magnificent soldier statues visible everywhere.
"This is more Stormwind-like than Stormwind itself!"
This was Chen's evaluation of Demacia. Its style was somewhat similar to Stormwind City in Warcraft, but even more majestic and grand!
In the center of the city, there was a giant statue, completely different from the other soldier statues.
This colossus looked tens of meters high. It wasn't in the form of an ordinary human. The colossus's head wore a huge, bronze, flowing crown, and it had a pair of massive wings on its back, along with a dragon's tail.

"Damn! This Galio is too big!"
The last thing that had brought him such shock was the Sion colossus in the Noxus castle prison!
The further Chen walked, the more he felt something was off:
"Wait, are you taking us to eat? I think we've already passed the commercial district; this is all residential now."
"Oh, actually, the commercial area ahead is also part of my family's property. uu kanshu
Now, this area, and the place ahead, are all part of the Crownguard Family's estate."
Lux said in a very Versailles-like manner:
"I'm inviting you to eat at my house. Besides the royal family, our Crownguard Family's chef makes the best food."
Powder's eyes widened, and she was practically drooling:
"Damn! She's a rich lady!"
An endless wall, with a huge iron gate in the middle. The nameplate clearly read two large characters - Crownguard.
Upon entering the Crownguard Family's compound, a group of servants approached with a carriage. That's right, a carriage!
Powder quietly whispered in Chen's ear:
"Chen, this rich lady is too wealthy! Why don't you take her as a concubine, then we won't have to worry about money!"
Chen, with a strong will to survive, replied:
"What are you saying? I will only ever love you!"
Powder glared at Chen:
"Where can you find such a beautiful rich lady like Miss Lux? Never mind, I'll do it myself."
"Hm???"
Chen tilted his head. What do you mean, 'I'll do it myself'? Huh!?
After a short carriage ride, they finally arrived at the restaurant. This restaurant could only be described with two words: huge, luxurious, awesome!
Chen, Powder, and Lux took their seats, but no food was served for a long time. Powder boredly stared at the cutlery:
"Still no food, what are they doing!"
Lux replied:
"Wait, they haven't arrived yet."
Chen suddenly felt a hint of unease:
"They?"
Just then, the door opened, and two men walked in.
One was clad in heavy armor, wielding a greatsword.
The other wore golden armor, holding a long halberd.
Chen nearly spat out his black tea:
"Garen, Jarvan!"
"Damn, I was tricked into coming here! What is this about!"
