Despite her words, Sienna's eyes holding grudge for what she went through, seemed to soften ever so slightly, as her eyes landed on Kael.
But, as she moved toward him, standing right in front of him, her glare still didn't vanish completely, seemingly before she was compensated, she was not going to end her protest.
Understanding what she wanted, Kael, who chuckled lightly, stood up, and took her into his arms. Her clingness was nothing new, after all.
Sienna's suffers seemed to melt as she hugged him, but seemingly still wanting to express herself, after a moment like that, she pulled away and grumbled.
"Do you know how insane you look, when you make people do all that?"
'Well, it's a hideout, meant to avoid any possibility of eavesdropping, so, what were you expecting?'
Kael didn't retort by logic he knew wouldn't work for Sienna, instead he teased.
"You came anyway."
Sienna seemed annoyed at his words, yet she didn't say anything more, but hugged him tightly once again, while hiding her grin, she stayed like for a few moments more and only when she was satisfied, did she pull away, and take a seat next to him.
"Did you have enough time hanging out with your favored codes and AIs, and now you wanted to interact with humans?"
"Actually, how long has it been since we met?"
She asked, yet, before he replied, looking at his face properly, she was actually quite surprised that he appeared this "proper" she barraged she said.
"Anyway, what's going on with you? Did you make a new girlfriend? Have you finally found that someone who could understand you... I mean someone able to understand how cold you are, and your workaholic nature and still is able to accept that?"
Sienna seemed more interested in Kael's love life, than the reason, he asked her and the other to meet in hideout, instead an ordinary place.
Yet, accustomed to that, Kael was phased.
"First, It's only been around month, so, stop exaggerating." he said seemingly exasperated. But didn't continue to explain further.
There was no need to explain each time, a new one one arrived after all.
Once everyone gathered, he could start explaining.
Yet Sienna continue probing, with her bright tone.
Fortunately, that's didn't continue for long before the next one arrived.
A man, slightly fat, disheveled, and in shabby clothes.
He is clearly a beggar… if someone didn't know that each piece on him cost more than $200 would said that.
"It's been such a long time." He said in lamenting tone, taking the appearance of Kael and Sienna while shaking his head.
"First. It's only been two months. Second, I called you some times ago, but you were busy playing that game, and were on such a critical period, that you refused to meet."
Coughing in awkward and embarrassed manner at Kael's words, Derek moved his gaze to Sienna, and said, "I watched your latest video, and I was really amazed!"
"At this rate you wouldn't take more than twenty years more, to reach your goal of on million followers!"
He encouraged after praising her.
Yet, Sienna's eyes, narrowed down, and she stood up from her seat, moving toward Derek, before started punching with him.
Kael stayed in his seat, watching, Derek now crying and asking for mercy in such an exaggerating manner, where that seemed to fuel Sienna's anger.
Interrupting their childish behaviors, were a man with black skin, wearing a clearly very expensive suit, with a long coat above it.
He admonished them, before finally moving his gaze to Kael, equally surprised by his appearance just like the rest, as he said, "actually, on the way here, I was thinking. And I found out."
"Apparently, this is the first gathering that happened, and you were the one to initiate it… further more, inside a place where no possible eavesdropping is happening."
"Are you in a dangerous situation? What's going on?" His tone quite serious, Darius asked.
If they could help, they would… that was what he was saying.
"Relax, there's nothing that serious. So, Let's wait until the last two arrive, I will explain everything then."
Darius nodded, as he took his seat, after taking Derek too away from Sienna's hands.
Conversation flowed naturally after that, with mostly the three talking and Kael leaving a comment or two, before another member of their group made his entrance.
Average in appearance, average in clothes, but still clearly having put quite the efforts in them. He appeared neat.
"I actually was dining outside with my wife, in restaurant, and had to finish the night early so, I can come. So, it's better there's something worth it."
He threatened Kael, while taking his seat on the table.
Kael, chuckled, "worth it or not. It's not like we gather everyday. So, chill."
"It's not like it's your honey moon too. It's been two years already!" Sienna interrupted, yet, Ethan in a merciless tone came back.
"How about you marry first, before you start giving your advises?"
"Actually, before marrying, how about dating? Do you want me to introduce you to someone?"
"I plan yo stay single all my life though," while saying abruptly, Sienna couldn't help but steal a glance at Kael with the corner of her eyes.
In the end, she was quite disappointed by his lack of reaction, and had to settle for glaring at Darius.
Not long after, finally a woman, with jeans, v neck shirt, and jacket, with red hair, entered.
"It's seems I'm the last." She said with a calm smile.
"Yes, you really are late," while Sienna said, puffing her cheeks.
Her tone, was actually warm, and teasing, while she waved both of her hands in greeting.
Vivian simply smiled, and looked at how are they seating, for a moment. Her gaze settling on the shrinking Derek on the end.
He seemed to cold sweat when her gaze arrived at him, and he stood up abruptly, "you have arrived, ma'am?"
"Welcome, come here take my seat, I warmed it for you!"
Without any pride, he kissed up to Vivian, and Sienna giggled at this familiar sight.
Ethan, stayed silence, hoping his turn wouldn't be next.
Darius was all smile, while Kael took everything naturally.
After sitting down, and dismissing Derek who offered his services, to message her shoulders.
The conversation became messy, with more than two talking at the same time.
