Catching a new fish right now was a truly unexpected joy for the residents of Lunaris Vale. Especially Simon, the energetic boy was incredibly curious about the taste of this fish species he had only heard about from others' tales.
Seeing the other two's trap yield results, the two Alphas also quickly pulled up the ropes in their hands. Their movements were highly decisive. Without even needing a grass lining, the two traps were swiftly hauled up.
"Wow, this one has a fish just as big!" Simon was standing near Wyatt, so the moment the trap was pulled up, Simon immediately peeked over. Sure enough, inside the trap was a fish the size of Simon's calf, its entirely pitch-black body sleek and glossy.
"Yeah, but this trap is empty."
The trap in Asher Ryder's hand held absolutely no fish. The other three were not disappointed at all. They knew the extreme difficulty of catching fish in this lake. Catching two had already made them ecstatic. Only Ewan slightly pursed his lips.
