Simon gnawed on a rabbit leg, his eyes curving into happy little crescents as he laughed: "It really is great having Ewan tag along. We hauled in an absolute mountain of loot today."
Wyatt nodded in agreement: "Today gave us rabbit, fowl, crabs, and even some shiitake mushrooms. Tomorrow, you stay home with mom to wash and dry the mushrooms so we can sell them at the next market cycle. As for the fowl, if it is still breathing by then, we will sell it. If it kicks the bucket, I will let you butcher it for a feast."
The moment the word about eating meat was mentioned, Simon's eyes lit up like supernovas, though he remained remarkably sensible. Gorging on rabbit twice in one day was already an unbelievable luxury, so he genuinely hoped that the fowl would stay perfectly healthy. That way, it could be traded for a few extra credits.
