When Simon arrived, Ewan and Asher Ryder were already fully prepared. Seeing them busy, Simon didn't say much, after a quick greeting, he grabbed his basket and headed out with them.
This time, the two Omegas carried the same baskets from their previous mountain trip, while Asher brought a massive one. Simon guessed it was for the fern roots, which took up a lot of space. Along the way, Ewan shoved a freshly cooked fern cake into his hands. Simon didn't refuse, the cake was genuinely delicious.
"My mom said you two went to the plot at the entrance to the fields to sell this morning, right? How was business? You were already back by the time I came out."
"It was okay, we just didn't have much flour so we couldn't bring a lot, it sold out fast." Since Simon brought it up, Ewan shared the plan he and Asher had discussed at noon.
