Chapter 191 - 191: Chase Across Thirty Universes

After speaking, Cassandra let out a long breath and then smiled at Axel.

"For now, I guess I won't have anything to play with in the void. You really disgust me, you bastard. Anyway, I'm leaving. The void is yours now, idiot."

As soon as she finished speaking, Cassandra suddenly took out a pair of Sling Rings and drew a glowing circle in the air, just like the Sorcerer Supreme. When she stepped into the portal, she even paused on the other side and waved at Axel.

"Goodbye."

The portal snapped shut. Axel smirked and calmly stepped into his flames.

The next second, in another universe, Cassandra had barely taken a few steps when she suddenly froze. Axel was already standing in front of her.

"Shit!"

She shut her eyes in frustration.

"So your teleportation can cross universes too? Why does a monster like you even exist? Damn it. Why don't you just die, Wraith?"

Axel burst out laughing.

"I've heard that one too many times."

"Damn it!"

Cassandra swore and opened another portal immediately. But the moment she appeared in a new universe, Axel followed her like a shadow.

"Shit!"

She opened another one and jumped through again. Axel followed.

Again. And again.

After passing through more than thirty universes like this, Cassandra finally snapped. The moment she appeared in the next universe, she suddenly stretched out her hand.

"Axel!"

She roared and clenched her fist tightly.

Instantly, within millions of square kilometers, countless people were dragged into the air by her power and left struggling helplessly.

Looking at the people floating above the ground, Cassandra spoke with a cold smile.

"If you chase me again, they all die because of you. There are children among them, pregnant women, even animals. Every death will be on your head."

"Huh?"

Axel laughed.

"You're the one killing them. What does that have to do with me? Why should I take the blame for your actions?"

"You!"

Her veins bulged with anger. Without hesitation, she tightened her fist.

In an instant, tens of millions of people turned into blood mist.

Among them, Axel even saw this universe's Hawkeye and his daughters.

At least this version of Hawkeye would never have to live through losing his family. They all died together.

Axel clicked his tongue coldly, but before he could say anything else, a new portal suddenly opened between him and Cassandra.

A moment later, a man with half white hair and a magnificent magical cloak stepped out, already looking annoyed.

"You two. I'm officially recognized as the laziest Sorcerer Supreme in the multiverse. Why do you still have to drag me into trouble?"

"Are you sure I'm the one causing trouble?"

Axel raised his middle finger at him, then pointed at Cassandra.

"Didn't you see I'm chasing a supervillain who just killed tens of millions of people? She's a lot more dangerous than I am."

"Ah… right."

The Sorcerer Supreme rubbed his beard helplessly.

"Fine. You're not the problem. But I still have to fix the timeline now. Tens of millions of deaths means at least one adjustment. And once I do that, more branches will appear. It's exhausting."

He sighed in irritation.

"I really don't want to become an anchor point again. Some idiot sorcerers will show up and start telling me what I should do. What a headache."

As soon as he finished speaking, he crossed his hands in front of his chest and formed a complicated spell.

The next moment, a third eye opened on his forehead.

When the eye opened, he seemed to see things that were invisible before. Then he slowly drew a circle in the air with his hand.

"Fellow sorcerers, lend me a hand."

Instantly, hundreds of portals opened in every direction.

Cassandra frowned. A strong sense of danger filled her chest. She immediately tried to open another portal, but just as it began forming, another hand suddenly stopped it.

At the same time, chaotic voices began echoing from the surrounding portals.

"I'm ashamed that you and I are both called Strange."

"Your universe has a small problem and you dragged yourself from across the multiverse to help? How lazy are you?"

"My disciple didn't just drag himself here either."

"Master Ancient One?"

"And the female Ancient One too?"

"Oh, the Ancient One with hair. Looks like the laziest Strange finally did something useful."

"Wait, are you Master Agamotto?"

"I was meditating and suddenly got dragged here. I want to see who dares cause this much trouble."

"It's Strange."

"Not that Strange."

"Strange, who's the enemy? Is it serious enough to gather this many Sorcerer Supremes? Are we fighting the Phoenix again?"

"And you even called Master Agamotto? This better not be pointless."

"Stop talking. The intruder already killed tens of millions of people!"

"Oh? Axel, you're here too?"

A bald Ancient One stepped out of one of the portals and nodded at Axel.

Two more versions of the Ancient One walked over with curiosity.

"Is he from the Sacred Timeline? I don't remember seeing him before."

"Probably not. I don't remember anyone famous named Axel either."

The younger Ancient One with long hair suddenly reached out her hand excitedly.

"Hello, Axel. I'm the Ancient One. Are you single?"

"Stop embarrassing yourself. You can think about dating after you pass the title to your universe's Strange."

The bald Ancient One rolled her eyes and stopped her.

"And you're only thirty one. You still have over eighteen hundred years before that happens."

"Damn it!"

The long haired Ancient One pouted, then turned toward Cassandra and shouted angrily.

"You demon. How dare you disturb my cultivation."

"Where did you learn that line?"

Not far away, Agamotto looked at her in confusion.

The young Ancient One proudly gave a thumbs up.

"I learned it from my father."

At the same time, a group of Stranges covered their foreheads in embarrassment and glared at the three eyed Strange.

"Couldn't you start a raid without calling teachers who still act like children?"

"If I had an assistant like you during surgery, I would have broken your arm myself."

In front of Axel, the bald Ancient One took a deep breath and spoke in a tired voice.

"As you can see, these are my very disappointing disciples. I have to admit that Strange really is the most outstanding Sorcerer Supreme. Outstanding in the worst possible way."

She lowered her head in frustration.

But just then, a slightly chubby Asian man swallowed nervously.

"Wait. Did Doctor Strange call the wrong person? I am the Sorcerer Supreme too, but only as a replacement. I shouldn't be dealing with something this serious, right?"

He looked at Strange with a helpless expression.

Before Strange could answer, a playful voice suddenly came from behind him.

"Well, little guy, the fact that you're standing here means you're qualified. Because the only real qualification is the title of Sorcerer Supreme."

As the voice finished speaking, the man raised his right hand toward Cassandra. His mechanical arm, covered in glowing magical runes, released a beam of magical energy.

Wong stared in disbelief.

"Wait… are you Sorcerer Supreme Tony Stark?"
