"Wow."
Hearing the girl's words, Axel glanced at her again with a mocking expression.
After a brief look, he shook his head.
"I thought this place might be interesting, but you're actually one of my fans?"
Axel clicked his tongue.
"That's disappointing. I hate dealing with fans. I don't sleep with them."
As he spoke, Axel slapped her lightly on the back before pushing her away.
"Leave before I decide you're too annoying to keep around."
Axel looked around the chaotic party.
"People are dying outside every second, yet you so-called elites are still enjoying yourselves here."
"Fortunately, you're all strangers to me. Otherwise, I might actually lose my patience."
He waved his hand.
"Go enjoy yourselves. I only brought those two here to show them what this world looks like."
Axel turned around and waved toward Wanda and Pietro.
The siblings hesitated before slowly approaching.
They were naturally nervous. This was the first time they had seen a place like this, a world completely different from everything they knew.
Wanda and Pietro were still inexperienced, and the scene before them was overwhelming.
Seeing them approach, Axel smiled.
"So? Did you broaden your horizons?"
"This is America's upper class. More specifically, New York's upper class."
Axel moved through the crowd.
Whenever someone blocked his way, he simply pushed them aside.
As he walked, he continued explaining.
"This kind of behavior isn't limited to America. Any society can create people like this."
"Once someone begins believing they are above everyone else, they stop seeing ordinary people as human."
Axel looked toward Wanda and Pietro.
"Even now, while America is suffering from chaos and conflict, these people are still partying."
"Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. may be fighting each other, but they both understand one thing. They won't let the conflict destroy the wealthy elite."
Axel stopped.
"So answer me."
"Do these people deserve to die more?"
"Or does Tony Stark, the man you wanted revenge against, deserve to die more?"
Wanda and Pietro fell silent.
The scene around them was difficult to process.
They had spent their lives focused on hatred toward Tony Stark, but standing here, seeing the arrogance and cruelty of these people, their thoughts began to change.
Axel looked at their expressions.
"Did you hear me?"
"I'm asking who deserves punishment more."
Pietro took a deep breath.
"Tony and us don't actually have a personal grudge..."
Before he finished speaking, a woman suddenly grabbed him.
Pietro froze.
The woman stared at him in surprise.
"Wow..."
She immediately pulled him closer.
Pietro's expression changed.
Wanda reacted instantly and pushed the woman away.
"Are you insane?"
The woman fell back, still cursing, but soon became distracted by the chaos around her.
Seeing Pietro's embarrassed expression, Wanda grabbed Axel's arm.
"Boss Axel, Pietro probably needs a shower and new clothes."
Axel laughed.
"I understand."
"But before that, you two still need to answer my question."
Axel brought Wanda toward a nearby sofa.
Seeing several people occupying it, he frowned and chose another one.
He pushed the people sitting there away.
"This is mine."
The group was thrown aside instantly.
Axel looked at the dirty sofa and frowned.
He pulled one of the women back.
"Clean it."
The woman looked at him strangely.
"Alright, but after I finish, can I stay with you?"
Axel ignored her expression.
After she finished, Axel pointed toward another group nearby.
"If you can make those people leave, I'll consider letting you stay."
The woman looked over.
"That won't be easy. That's Boss Tang's group."
She smiled.
"But I can try."
After she left, Axel sat down and looked at Wanda.
"Now answer."
"Who deserves punishment more?"
"The people here, who ignore ordinary citizens and treat others like objects?"
"Or Tony Stark, who has flaws but is willing to sacrifice himself for others?"
Wanda lowered her head.
"I understand what you mean."
She carefully sat beside Axel.
"These people pretend to be respectable, but they only care about themselves."
"They don't see ordinary people as equals."
"Compared to them, Tony really is a hero."
"We won't seek revenge anymore."
Before she could finish, Axel placed an arm around her.
Wanda froze.
Pietro looked away awkwardly.
"That's my sister, Boss Axel. At least don't do this right in front of me."
Axel smiled.
"Three-second Quicksilver, don't complain."
Pietro's face turned red.
"Who wants that nickname?"
"I just had a normal first experience. That's all."
His confidence quickly disappeared.
Axel pointed toward the nearby group.
"Help me with something."
"Those people disgust me."
"Go take care of their leader."
Pietro hesitated.
"Fine."
"But while I'm gone, don't bother my sister."
Pietro immediately moved.
Soon after, Axel and Wanda were left alone.
The atmosphere around them changed.
Moments later, the party suddenly went silent.
The lights returned, and screams erupted.
The leader of the group Axel had pointed at was already dead.
Panic spread instantly.
Everyone began running toward the exits.
In the chaos, Axel looked at Wanda with a smile.
"You really wanted to eat me alive, didn't you?"
Wanda adjusted herself and looked away.
"Isn't that what you wanted?"
"Otherwise, why bring me here?"
Before Wanda could do anything else, several armed guards rushed out.
Quicksilver moved immediately.
Within seconds, every guard had fallen.
Half a minute later, Pietro returned with wet hair and different clothes.
He looked at Wanda, then at Axel.
"Boss, are there any more people to deal with?"
Axel laughed.
"No."
"What a shame."
"I came to New York expecting some entertainment."
Axel looked around.
"Too bad these people ruined the atmosphere."
He turned toward Pietro.
"Find some drinks."
"Then find some people willing to stay and dance."
"Tonight is already full of chaos. Might as well enjoy it."
...
At the same time, Steve Rogers arrived at the Brooklyn Museum with a S.H.I.E.L.D. field team.
After stepping out of the helicopter, Steve looked at the statue in the courtyard.
It was a statue of Captain America.
One agent approached him.
"Captain, this is your hometown."
"I'm from Brooklyn too. When I was young, I came here because of your story."
"The museum was practically built around your legacy."
Steve stared at the statue.
"Yes."
"It was built around me."
He took a breath.
"I failed this country."
"I could have done more."
Steve then entered the waiting vehicle and headed toward Hell's Kitchen.
After recovering the Helicarrier, Maria Hill had rebuilt S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intelligence operations.
Although their resources were limited, locating Wilson Fisk's base was still possible.
However, shortly after entering Hell's Kitchen, Steve noticed another vehicle being chased through the streets.
He immediately recognized it.
That vehicle belonged to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Steve looked at the field agent beside him.
"You already had agents here?"
The agent shook his head.
"I don't know. The situation is too chaotic."
"We can't identify everyone involved."
Steve nodded.
"I understand."
He accelerated toward the fleeing vehicle.
When he got close, Steve lowered the window and revealed himself.
The vehicle immediately sped up.
A moment later, Steve jumped from his car and threw his shield.
The shield struck the pursuing vehicle, forcing it away.
The S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle stopped.
Nick Fury stepped out with a weapon in hand.
"Captain, be careful."
"The person chasing me is Bullseye."
"Kingpin's assassin."
Steve froze.
"Nick Fury?"
The moment he recognized him, Steve's expression changed.
The agents behind him immediately raised their weapons.
Nick Fury noticed and slowly stepped back.
Steve approached him.
"I watched you leave for Washington."
"So tell me."
"Who are you really?"
"And what is your purpose?"
