ALETHEA'S POV
It has been at least four days since I saw Thane and Isabella. Charlotte and Scarlet has been coming to see me frequently, saying that I need sunlight. They have been trying to make me feel better after finding out about my past. I appreciate their effort but I am used to handling things by myself including trying to get out from my depression mode.
I stood up from the chair I was sitting, deciding to take a stroll in the pack house.
As I walked I can't help but wonder how it would feel if I had my wolf and be normal like everyone else.
"Will my family accept me?"
"Would granny be alive?"
"Would I be Blake's mate?" I mentally and physically cringed at that thought.
"What were you thinking that made you so disgusted?" Screaming I looked up to see him standing in all his glory looking bored,cold and uncaring at the same time.
'Nothing..erm..I wasn't..well..' ever since my breakdown in Isabella's room with him I don't know how to face him.
He bent to my height his faces inches from mine as he stared at my eyes.
' What are you doing?' I asked breathless
'What are you thinking?' he asked back.
I was not thinking of anything bad so why am I getting flustered.
'Nothing. Can you move?' I asked my lips pulled in a thin line. His lips slightly moved into a smirk but he quickly stop the movement.
'Why?' I sighed can he be anymore annoying.
'cause your face up close is so disgusting that I might actually throw up my breakfast' I replied. Now is my time to smirk as his face harden.
'Not used to be called ugly" I thought.
He straighten to his normal height, I kinda missed him like that. He is less intimidating when he is like that.
'I needed to talk to you' he said. I don't know what came over me but I am suddenly annoyed and angry.
'Sorry, I am busy' I said faking boredom.
'I don't care!' his eyes held an anger I love to see.
'I don't think I can, I will talk to you in four days when I remember I have you' I pushed him out of my way.
"Good! Now you know how it feels to be abandoned" I thought as I walked away while he is still in his state of shock.
My victory smile is plastered on my face as I laugh lightly not paying attention to where I was heading.
'Ouch!' I rubbed my forehead. It feels like I ran into a wall, I looked and to my surprise.
It is actually a wall. A laugh made me to stare at the person who is already staring at me with those brown eyes.
'I'm so sorry I didn't tell you about the wall but I just wanted to see if you will run into the wall' shock was written on my face as she laughed more.
'And you did' Isabella exclaimed as she threw her hands on the air still laughing.
'Are you done?' I asked my voice I little snappy. She nodded moving a bit for me sit close to her. I complied no hesitation.
For a few minutes none of us said anything as we took in the scene in front of us, I was currently sitting beside a lake.
"How I got here?" I don't know.
'This is comfort space where I rest from everyone and my annoying brother' she said her usual smile never leaving her face. It makes me wonder what she will look like if she isn't smiling. Goosebumps forms on my hands,sweat trail down my spine.
'Nobody knows about this place except from me and uptil today you' I didn't say anything as I just listened.
'I seriously don't know how you got here it that doesn't matter anyway' she said stretching her arms out. I stared at her and the more I look at her the more I see him in her. They look so alike and you will make the mistithat they are twins. Isabella is 20 years turning 21 soon.
'Did you talk to my brother?' she asked turning to take a glance at me before returning her gaze to the lake.
'He said he wanted to talk to me but..you were angry because he wasn't there for you in the past few days' she cuts me off.
'How did you know?' I gasped my hands flying to cover my mouth. She laughed, she is so beautiful.
'It is written all over your face'.
She continued,'I know my brother can be an asshole sometimes' I coughed for her to correct her statement. 'Alright all the time but can you really take it slow and easy with him?'she asked.
'I know it is not easy since he doesn't even try in his end but you have to believe me when I said that he doesn't know how to show his emotions.' I sighed taking a hold of her hands that rested in her laps.
'Don't you worry I will make sure your brother is in good shape' I smile innocently outside but inside I plan on doing the opposite.
She nodded in appreciation. For few minutes we sat in complete silence and appreciated the beauty of the scene. It was already late noon when we decided to head back to the pack house.
'Are you sure you don't want me to walk you back to his place?' Isabella asked for the tenth time. It is cute she is worrying about me. Scarlet and Charlotte came out from the door with my baby. He jumped out Scarlet's hands running towards me.
'How have you been?' I haven't seen him days now. I gave him to Scarlet and Charlotte to take care of him while I get myself out of my depression mode.
'I have missed you my baby' I pick him up as I kissed his head and in return he licked my face. Giggling, I turned towards the girls, 'Thank you for taking care of him'.
'Anytime' Charlotte said.
'Are you free tomorrow Thea?' Scarlet asked. Shaking my head, she clapped her hands together as she beams with a smile that says "I know the perfect torture for you all'.
'I think I am busy tomorrow..' I quickly said. A growl came out of her. Scarlet is planning to take us shopping or any other torture.
'We will pick you by 8 in the morning be dressed nicely' with that said she waved and went into the pack house Isabella and Charlotte behind her. I turned and started my journey to his place.
My baby is curled in my arms, eyes closed and small air from his nose hits my bare arm.
Everywhere is so peaceful, I spoke to soon. A branch snapped like someone stepped on it, turning sharply to where the sound came from. I am met with an unknown person, the face is covered as I can only see his eyes. I heard footsteps I look at my side and there is another. I am surrounded, 4 vs 1 that is so not fair.
I don't think I can handle them without having an injury or two,with their posture they look like skilled warriors.
'How did you get in the pack' I knew that these guys are not from this pack but the problem and question is 'how did they get into the pack without the patrol seeing them?.
They just ignored me as the first one charged. My baby jumped off my hands as he attack the one on my left.
I smiled, it is now 4 vs 2. I turned towards the remaining three, my fist clenched to throw a punch.
'Try not get hurt my love' I said to my baby, he barked in return asi charged towards my opponent.
