"Uh… y-yes… I'm free tomorrow," I replied, my voice steadying as I felt Elliot's presence beside me, his focus fixed on the road while his aura remained calm but quietly dominant within the confined space of the vehicle.

"Old Madam Presgrave, I understand you're usually occupied at night because you stay home to watch over your child, so that time wouldn't suit you. That's why I chose the afternoon. It's settled then—we'll have lunch together tomorrow."

"Sure thing, Old Madam Presgrave," I agreed without hesitation. Within a pack, refusing an elder's invitation carried weight, and this was her first personal request toward me, making rejection unthinkable.

"Alright, I'll contact you tomorrow. You must be busy now. That's all."
