Bang!
The door slammed shut!
A female elf ran into the building, followed by Rocky's beasts. Whatever it was, it had to be important for them to let her in.
"Rocky! I have an omen."
She gasped, resting on her knees. Then she lifted her eyes, frowning in confusion.
Rocky was standing by a plant, tugging his collar up a few times. He spoke in an irritated voice, sweat rolling down his face.
"It's so hot… I guess this building has a solid structure—not even a breeze from outside gets in, right?"
Nearby, Scarlet sat motionlessly, reading the papers on the table. Her face was still cold, but streams of sweat betrayed her.
She had just realized she'd buttoned her silk shirt the wrong way. Well… it couldn't be helped.
Rocky could blame the heat, but she couldn't use that excuse. Even with her speed, mistakes still happened.
The next moment, she shot Rocky a cold glance and sighed.
(We must keep our distance from now on.)
Alina tilted her head slightly and nodded.
"Maybe?"
