Chapter 77 - Chapter 78: Starting with a flashback technique? Hakime, you bastard!

"I'm Caesar, a big unlucky guy from Blue Star."

"On the map of civilized races, I've been a wild man... no, a wild dragon in that red-marked 'Dragon Spine Mountain Range' for almost a year."

"Just three days ago, I finally left that godforsaken mountain range. This not only means I'm no longer a village dragon, but also means—"

Caesar paused, looking at the few Green-skinned Orcs trembling before him, and grinned with his large, fang-filled mouth.

"—the craft of robbery finally has a use."

At this moment, Caesar's massive body was blocking a narrow mountain path.

In front of him was a merchant caravan of orcs with only two dilapidated carts.

These Green-skinned Orcs were probably around LV.10 in level. Seeing a Gold Rank dragon suddenly jump out, their legs went weak, and they knelt on the ground, babbling something like "spare us" and "in the name of Gruumsh" in their local dialect.

"Enough nonsense, strip off those cloaks! Don't make me slap you!"

Caesar pointed with his claw tip at one of the orcs wearing an oversized hooded cloak specially designed to conceal non-human features.

This was the common 'Traveler's Cloak' in border areas, woven from coarse hemp soaked in oil. The wide hood was enough to cover an orc's tusks or an elf's pointed ears, with several hidden pockets sewn into the lining, making it a favorite of smugglers and fugitives.

The orcs didn't dare disobey, trembling as they took off the cloaks and even pulled out a few silver coins from their pockets, respectfully placing them on the ground.

Caesar gave a disdainful glance at the silver coins and swept them away with his tail.

"Who wants your stinky money? Am I that kind of dragon?"

"Hurry up and pick them back up!"

The orcs from the Rose Merchant Guild quickly complied. Caesar stored the meat goods from the carts into his Storage Ring before letting them go. The orc merchants immediately scrambled away, not even taking their carts.

Fortunately, the horses had already been killed, which was good news for the orc merchants.

After all, if he hadn't killed their horses, Caesar would have made a meal out of them. These orcs had fighting attributes but didn't provide fighting attribute factors, which was bizarre.

"Osterburg..."

Caesar unfolded the map, looking at the marked human town stronghold, and narrowed his vertical pupils.

The stronghold marked as 'Osterburg' on the map had a small note next to it:'Shield of Lordaeron, Guardian of the Rift.'

This place was less than half a day's journey away, a military fortress and trade hub on the border of the Lordaeron Empire.

If you wanted to buy alchemical Materials, get decent weapons, or even eat a proper meal, you had to go to such a place.

But here was the problem.

Although he was now a highly intelligent dragon with a human Soul, his appearance was still that of a two-meter-long Garchomp.

If he swaggered into a human city looking like this, he'd probably be turned into a sieve by the city's defensive ballistae before even getting through the gate.

Not to mention the 'blue demon' bounty notice that had been causing chaos in this area.

Although the artist's skill was so bad it looked like they were drawing with their feet, making him look like a blue toad with legs, his unique blue scales and distinctive fins were still too conspicuous.

"Hey, I have an idea."

Caesar turned to look at Cecilia, who had been hiding behind him munching on fruit.

The Silver Dragon girl's mouth was stuffed with wild fruit she'd taken from the orc cart, her cheeks puffed out, looking utterly clueless.

"Huh? Wha' idea?"

"Transformation," Caesar said succinctly.

"Cough, cough..." Cecilia almost choked, finally swallowing the fruit. "What are you up to now? I'm telling you, I'm not turning into something weird for you to ride!"

The experience of turning into a donkey yesterday was still fresh in her mind, and the girl clearly had psychological trauma.

"Who wants to ride you? I have legs."

Caesar shook out the huge cloak. "Think about it. If we go in like this, we're asking to die. But what if we disguise ourselves as human Adventurers?"

"Disguise?" Cecilia tilted her head. "But you don't know Transformation magic."

As a True Dragon with noble blood, Cecilia only needed to turn into a silver-haired, red-eyed little loli and poke some people's XP.

But Caesar had a lot more to consider.

No matter how much it evolves, a Garchomp is still a shark. Even as a Garchomp, it's just a big shark, with no ability to turn human.

Unless he learns some high-level illusion magic in the future, he's basically saying goodbye to looking 'human-like' for life.

"I can't transform, but I can 'assemble.'"

Caesar showed an extremely eerie smile.

Ten minutes later.

A fierce argument came from deep in the forest.

"No! Absolutely not! This is too ugly! Is it a dismembered corpse?!"

"Enough nonsense. Do you want to eat that 'Frost Sugar Bread' and 'Honey-glazed Roast Meat'? Do you want to drink that bubbly sweet water?"

"...Yes."

"Then listen to me! Get up here!"

A little while later.

A 'mysterious person' about 2.2 meters tall, wrapped tightly in a large black cloak, staggered out of the forest.

This 'person' walked in an extremely awkward manner.

Sometimes walking with the same arm and leg forward, sometimes as if on stilts, the lower body moving independently while the upper body remained stiff as a board.

The strangest thing was her head.

Under the cloak's hood, an overly delicate little face was revealed.

Silver hair, ruby-like eyes, skin as white as snow—she looked like an adorable little loli of only twelve or thirteen.

But this head and this burly body were completely mismatched.

It was like photoshopping Snow Miku's head onto Arnold Schwarzenegger's body.

"Stop moving! My neck's going to break!"

The cute loli head suddenly lowered her voice and cursed fiercely.

"Shut up. You're too heavy."

From the 'girl's' chest came another low, muffled voice.

That's right.

This was the brilliant plan Caesar had come up with—[Double Dragon Stack].

Caesar walked upright, serving as the body and limbs.

Cecilia used [Transformation] to only create a head and a section of neck, riding on Caesar's shoulders to act as the head.

Then, they wrapped both dragons together with the oversized cloak taken from the orcs.

To hide Caesar's distinctive shark hands and feet, he deliberately wore thick leather gloves and specially made tall boots (also taken from the orcs).

As for the thick tail, it had to be stuffed into the pant legs and robe, disguised as... well, a slightly perky butt.

"I feel like I'm going to throw up..."

Cecilia sat on Caesar's shoulders, gripping the two fleshy fins on his head tightly, her little face pale.

No wonder.

Caesar never watched where he was going, taking deep steps and shallow ones. Sitting on top felt like being on a pirate ship.

"If you throw up, I'll stuff it back in."

"But that spike is poking me!"

"That's a dorsal fin! Bear with it. We're almost there."

Caesar's voice came muffled from below. "The city gate is ahead. Manage your expression."

"If we get exposed, forget about roast meat tonight—you won't even get dirt to eat."

Hearing this, Cecilia immediately took a deep breath, forcing back the expression of wanting to vomit.

In its place was an aloof, haughty expression.

This was what she learned from the Dragon Clan's Legacy memory—[The Arrogance of a True Dragon].

Using it to fool these Mortals was like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

"Have you thought of a name?" Caesar asked.

"Yes!" Cecilia perked up immediately. "This Miss looks so perfect now, of course it should be'Silver Flash · Super Invincible · Queen Cecilia Your Majesty'!"

"..."

Caesar was silent for two seconds.

"Too long. Rejected."

"Then 'Dragon Proud Heaven'?"

"Too tacky. Rejected."

"Then what do you want to call it!" Cecilia got anxious, shaking Caesar's fins.

"Just call it... Hakime."

"Hakime? Sounds familiar, like it appeared in a chapter somewhere. What does it mean?"

"It doesn't mean anything. It's just a very cute creature," Caesar lied casually. "Alright, enough chatter. We're at the gate."

Under Osterburg's massive oak city gate, travelers lined up in a long queue.

The griffin relief carved on the lintel was somewhat eroded by wind and rain. Several guards in chainmail, wearing surcoats embroidered with Rift Emblems, impatiently tapped the ground with the butts of their spears, checking each person one by one.

The atmosphere was tense.

Clearly, news from the mines had spread here, and security had been tightened.

When it was Miss 'Hakime's' turn, the guard clearly hesitated.

He looked up at the 'girl' towering two heads taller than him, his Adam's apple bobbing.

Wow.

What did this girl eat to grow so tall?

But that face... it's way too pretty, isn't it?
