~what exactly happened?
Freya was sitting in the cafeteria just as always.
Carefree.
Calm.
Like she's completely fine.
Her regular checkup results came and she was about to get discharged tomorrow as she had only one month to live she, so she decided to live it like she never did.
Before she could think about anything else the only name in her head was — Noah. She is thinking about him because she has a lot to talk about.
But she couldn't reach him out.
Sitting at the cafeteria she is glaring out of window.
A sudden knock on table got her attention.
She turned – saw a beautiful hand of a girl, she looked up and saw grace standing there smiling at her.
Before she could say anything grace said "Can I talk to you".
They went on terrace freya was standing at front.
Grace followed her.
"Don't you want to ask anything" grace said.
"No, but I want to tell you". Freya replied.
"its first time you're not asking me instead want to tell me. So– what's that?".
"I have only 1 month to live, it's happening again and this time I don't want someone to do anything about it. No one will suffer instead of me". Her voice was cold, strong and straight.
"that's it". Freya said and turned to leave.
" that's all? " grace said.
She stopped where she was, grace stepped closer to her and said "Do you think your decisions are best and can solve the problem? No it's not."
She continued.
"Last time also you took the decision but now this is where you are".
Freya didn't move "I don't remember taking it" replied.
"exactly. You think Noah was the only one who took a decision himself".
"You too – took a decision yourself,
You are the reason you don't remember taking it".
This time confused and a bit anger freya turned to her finally facing her — "What do you want to say?, why are you so confusing?" this time her tone went emotional like she lose his strength to talk about it.
"be calm freya, I'm not here to confuse you– but to get to know the truth you were asking."grace said in a soft voice.
"Am I the reason I don't remember anything?" freya asked.
"you were blaming Noah as he choosed to took his own existence just to save you, but you couldn't accept that thing he don't belong here anymore so– you choosed the erasure of memory of both so you both can survive, actually no– you choosed so he could live".
"he don't know that yet".
"but now, when the fate is broken you are here". Grace said it all seriously.
"Is it what happened?" freya asked.
"I said what I said, i don't repeat and I don't lie". Grace replied.
Freya went silent staring at nothing. Grace watched her.
"You are looking for him. Didn't you?". Grace asked.
"I don't know where to find him". Freya replied.
"I will take you there" grace said while smiling at her.
She looked at the sky trying to hold back her tears she questions herself that why her ending is this complicated and now when I was trying to get out of this, I'm figuring out the things I didn't mean to. she turned to Grace and said "no need to take me anywhere if he wants to, he will be there for me".
Freya left terrace and Grace watched her leave.
