Too much had happened, and his brain would inevitably try to make sense of it all, but that oblivion had felt so sweet…
That was exactly what he was feeling now.
But it wasn't someone's presence that brought him back to consciousness, nor even one of those nightmares with a deadly ending. It was something he had experienced in real life, which had then followed him into his dreams and lingered at his fingertips, in his muscle memory.
He realized that for a time, he had truly fought like the Champion of Dream. Of course, his physical and supernatural abilities were limited and could not fully replicate it.
