The room had grown quiet around him. The activity throughout the Royal Estate had gradually settled as the afternoon progressed, although Shadow Guards continued moving through the corridors and communicating with the teams stationed at Cross Estate.
Marcus had already instructed them to keep their surveillance in place, and there had been no significant developments since his last update.
