"Tsk...it seems I can't stay any longer."
As the fissures rapidly expanded around them while crackling sounds echoed everywhere, Lilith finally reined in her anger and looked at Soren again.
"Well, your guess was correct. Human, you are very lucky to stand in the presence of the Demon Lord, Lilith, today."
She confirmed his guess before slowly walking toward Soren, who still couldn't move.
Then once she was close enough, she raised the same hand she had pricked earlier and lightly placed her finger on Soren's forehead.
"So, as a reward, I've decided you are quite suitable to become my servant. Rejoice, for today I will not kill you."
She then gave him a faint smile, as if she hadn't just spoken the cruelest words imaginable to him.
'Fuck...this is bad.'
Unfortunately, no matter how beautiful her smile was, Soren wasn't feeling any of it.
If anything, he was panicking, rightfully so.
