I hadn't expected Mike to come to the training grounds after storming off back to the pack house earlier.
I know he is a proud man and the fact that I ignored him and preferred to talk to Karl and have him protect me was a big blow to his ego.
However, I wasn't interested in a tainted man.
Even though he is my mate, he was already attached to another woman.
Even after acknowledging me as his mate and becoming Luna in name, he was still frolicking around with Innocent.
She spent nights in his room when he wasn't acting like a witch and pacing outside my door at night.
Even though I wanted to ignore him, I know that I still have to show him respect in front of others.
Unless he crosses me, I will not deliberately make things difficult for him.
