For the past couple of weeks, I had been going to the company to get familiar with its operation.
Since I am taking over as the alpha, I also have to learn how to run the family business.
The Stone Group is a family business ran for generations by the alphas of the Bloodfang pack.
Now that I am getting crowned as the alpha soon, I must also understand the business.
I have not officially left the Night claw pack. However, I will be leaving in two days.
Today, I came back early to say goodbye to Valerie.
Even though I haven't achieved my goal, I can't just let go of my prey.
The only reason I had to bed down my pursuit was because I couldn't openly let others know that I wanted more than friendship.
Not when she is still the Luna of Night claw pack.
My bet with Mike is still on, and since he hasn't claimed her, I still have a chance.
I just wonder whether Valerie still sees me as her only salvation.
