Chapter 218 - Chapter 218

Masata felt that his newly awakened ability was almost identical to Conqueror's Haki from One Piece.

Whether it was shocking villains or affecting his surroundings, the effect was nearly the same.

So, without hesitation, he decided to name it Conqueror's Aura.

This kind of power didn't seem like something that could be trained deliberately.

From its first awakening in the forest, to its true eruption during his battle with AFO, Masata had never practiced it on purpose.

It appeared naturally.

Conqueror's Aura only grew stronger when the user themselves grew stronger, or when their spirit and resolve underwent a major transformation.

At first, Masata couldn't even control its range.

Now, however, he could accurately suppress specific targets.

That alone was already a huge improvement.

In Masata's view, this ability definitely wasn't just meant for clearing weak enemies.

It had to be far more than that.

Otherwise, such an incredible power would be a waste.

Now that he could clearly sense it inside his body, he decided it was time to start developing it seriously.

Since it was spiritual in nature, he would begin training from a mental standpoint.

"Yo! So you were hiding here!"

Kirishima walked over holding a glass of juice.

Because everyone was underage, there was no alcohol—only juice and milk.

Paired with such a luxurious feast, it felt oddly mismatched.

Kirishima raised his glass dramatically.

"Here's to the Hero of the Battlefield!"

"The future Number One!"

"The eternal nightmare of villains!"

"The magma-wielding Ashbringer!"

"This world needs heroes!"

The boys immediately followed his lead, shouting one title after another while raising their drinks.

If not for their mischievous smiles, it might've sounded like serious praise.

Masata didn't mind at all.

Instead, he stood up cooperatively, lifted his glass, slowly scanned the room like a leader inspecting his troops, then nodded slightly.

"Good. Very good. I approve."

The entire class burst out laughing.

Even the girls couldn't help joining in.

The dining hall filled with warmth and joy.

"Looks like everyone's full now."

Yaoyorozu glanced at the empty plates.

"Next, Masata is going to show us something special!"

With Masata's permission, she officially announced the after-dinner entertainment.

"Oh? You've still been hiding something?"

Kirishima looked surprised.

"We've already seen your magma giant. If it's that, no need."

Yan Zhizuo was no longer a secret.

Masata had used it publicly several times.

Everyone had seen it.

"Relax. You've never seen this before."

Masata smiled mysteriously.

"Don't be shocked later."

No matter how much Kirishima asked afterward, Masata refused to explain.

It made Kirishima restless with curiosity.

Even Todoroki's eyes showed interest.

After resting for a while, the group headed toward the back mountain of the estate and entered a sealed exhibition hall.

"Whoa! You even have a private zoo?!"

Kurosawa Yoru exclaimed excitedly.

Well, with Yaoyorozu's wealth, having a private zoo was hardly surprising.

When money reached a certain level, it was just numbers.

Naturally, people started collecting strange things.

"Oh, right."

Yaoyorozu pointed at a tiger inside a glass enclosure.

"I took a photo with it when I was little. It was tiny back then—like a plush toy. Now it's huge."

"Hahaha! Did Masata wet his pants back then?"

Mineta immediately rushed over, sensing gossip.

"Sorry. I was holding the tiger."

Masata replied calmly.

"You were the only one who wet your pants."

Critical hit.

Mineta collapsed on the floor in despair.

Ignoring him, Masata pointed at the tiger.

"Let's use that one."

Everyone froze.

What was the tiger supposed to demonstrate?

Was he going to roast it with magma?

Feeling their strange gazes, Masata hurriedly waved his hands.

"Not what you're thinking!"

He smiled.

"Just watch closely."

Masata focused on the aura inside his body.

Then, he looked at the unaware tiger.

"Hmmm…"

Invisible fluctuations spread from him.

Like silent waves, they rushed forward.

In the next instant—

The tiger trembled violently.

Then collapsed.

Out cold.

To everyone watching, it looked absurdly simple.

Masata stared.

The tiger fainted.

"That's it?!"

Everyone shouted in shock.

He hadn't touched it.

No fire.

No impact.

Just… a look.

"Is this magic?!"

Some students were completely dumbfounded.

Yaoyorozu, knowing the tiger personally, looked worried.

"Is it okay…?"

"Don't worry," Masata said quickly.

"I controlled it. It's just sleeping."

Relieved, she finally relaxed.

"Hey, what was that?! Explain!"

"Yeah! Don't leave until you tell us!"

Surrounded by classmates, Masata raised his hands in surrender.

"It's just intimidation," he explained.

"Like when All Might stands in front of you—don't you feel pressured?"

"I'm just… a bit stronger in that area."

Everyone fell silent.

All Might's presence alone couldn't knock out a tiger.

Yet Masata had done it casually.

And he was only a first-year student.

Others were still polishing their quirks.

Meanwhile, this guy already had a natural kingly presence.

A symbol of strength.

Only one thought remained in everyone's mind:

Why compare yourself to monsters like this?
