"Well then, starting today, we'll resume normal classes."
Inside Class A's homeroom, Aizawa-sensei opened his lesson notes and looked down at his students.
"Many unprecedented events have happened recently. But it's time to reassess yourselves and focus on your responsibilities as students."
"Today will be academic classes. However, much harsher training awaits you in the future."
While Aizawa spoke steadily from the podium, a completely different atmosphere brewed beneath it.
"What's for lunch today?"
"He's not planning to talk the whole period, is he?"
"Yaoyorozu, want to take a walk in the woods tonight?"
"Shut up."
The low murmur spread like a mini-theater performance.
Aizawa's eyelids twitched slightly.
"Do you want me to switch methods?"
Instant silence.
Everyone straightened instantly, heads lowered like model students.
"Yes, sensei!"
"Teacher, may I ask a question?"
Just as Aizawa prepared to continue, Tsuyu raised her hand calmly.
After a brief pause, he nodded.
"At the opening ceremony, there was mention of off-campus activities. Could you explain what that means?"
Her question immediately sparked interest across the classroom.
"Yeah, the principal did mention that."
"I'm curious too."
"Does it mean we can go somewhere cool at night?"
Masata leaned lazily toward Yaoyorozu.
She pushed his head away with visible exasperation.
He was clearly not paying attention.
Yaoyorozu then raised her own hand.
"Does this mean we'll be working together with upperclassmen?"
Aizawa sighed.
"I planned to discuss this later, but we'll do it now."
The entire class focused immediately.
"In short, these are official Hero activities conducted outside school. You can think of them as the formalized version of work-study placements at Hero agencies."
"Huh? That system still exists?" Chacha muttered.
Then she suddenly slammed her desk.
"Then what was the point of working so hard at the Sports Festival?!"
Her dramatic reaction startled Iida in front of her.
But he quickly followed her reasoning.
"If internships are guaranteed anyway, then performance at the Sports Festival doesn't matter."
Aizawa raised a hand.
"Calm down."
"The Sports Festival recommendations are a direct channel for Heroes outside the school to contact you."
"That opportunity is something you must earn yourselves."
"If you weren't selected, contacting agencies independently will be far more difficult."
"After obtaining a provisional license, you can participate in longer and more official off-campus activities."
"However, first-year students rarely receive provisional licenses."
"And with villain activity increasing, the school will carefully consider who is permitted to participate."
"As for policy adjustments, those will be discussed later."
"For now—focus on your behavior."
With that, Aizawa ended the discussion.
He handed the class over to Present Mic, who had been waiting outside, and the day continued.
Evening
In the dorm lounge, Masata and the others relaxed while chatting about the morning announcement.
"I wonder where I'll intern this time. Back to Endeavor's agency?"
Masata leaned back against the sofa.
"If possible, I'm never going back to that flashy agency again."
Yaoyorozu's expression darkened slightly.
Her last internship experience had consisted largely of commercial shoots and endorsements.
While it was enjoyable to experience celebrity treatment, it didn't align with her ideal vision of Hero work.
Though admittedly—
The products they endorsed had sold exceptionally well.
The power of beautiful girls was undeniable.
Masata touched his cheek smugly.
If he debuted in some music video, wouldn't he instantly go viral?
Maybe even launch a full idol career.
"Bakugo, any major incidents at your father's agency recently?" Masata asked casually. "If something interesting comes up, let me know."
"I don't know. He doesn't talk to me," Bakugo replied bluntly.
Masata didn't bother prying.
Their father-son dynamic was complicated beyond his interest.
Suddenly—
"What's this dust, Bakugo-san?!" Mineta's obnoxious voice rang out.
"Shut up! I cleaned that already!"
Mineta, Sero, and Kaminari were conducting "inspection duty" in the dorm's common areas.
Mineta had just run a finger across a window crack.
Bakugo exploded verbally at them.
Meanwhile, Midoriya sat quietly, lost in thought.
He hadn't understood much of the earlier conversation.
Masata noticed.
"Don't overthink it," he said calmly.
"I'd help you, but Aizawa gave strict orders not to tell you two about the lecture details."
"Consider it an extra punishment."
Midoriya blinked.
So that was it.
"You'll be fine," Masata continued.
"Only students with provisional licenses can join the next activity anyway."
"We'll be participating together."
"What?!" Bakugo spun around immediately.
"That means that damn Deku can go but I can't?!"
"Exactly," Masata said with an infuriatingly satisfied smile.
"So you'd better work hard during your extra training period."
"Or else… you understand, right?"
The look on Bakugo's face was priceless.
After delivering one final round of verbal "education," Masata stood up.
He casually took Yaoyorozu's hand.
"Come on."
And just like that, he left the dorm lounge, leaving Bakugo fuming behind him.
